I always find the whole 'Batman Doesn't Kill People' funny because I've been following Bob Kane's comic for quite a long time and the whole story started with Batman killing people and using guns. I wanna say it started with him not killing with Adam West's version because they wanted to make it more family/kid friendly which would make the content open to a broader audience and boost sales. But yeah, he was a vigilante that did kill originally and occasionally does in todays versions. Most notably when he killed The Joker in the 1989 Tim Burton Batman Movie and in Batman V Superman, he kills a few guys.
