Superheroes have their own lives including work, family, spouses, and their own cities to protect. Batman is also very particular on how he handles his villains seeing as how he has arguably the worst rogues gallery in all of the Justice league if not DC. Gotham is a very unique and sinister place where a lot of cerebral detective work is required which many of the other leaguers don’t have (flash does but that’s about it). Batman half the time don’t even call in the bat family to assist him, he likes things done his way and doesn’t like releasing too much information to other people. Also, he doesn’t want anyone to get hurt ever since Jason so he works alone as much as possible. His life line order is always, Alfred, then Dick, then Celina, (second two two possibly interchangeable depending on situation) then the Bat family, then Superman, then the league. Also, lastly but most important reason being is it makes for better written stories

Oh my goodness it's a slow Monday. Right meow it's 10:37 a.m. and I still haven't brushed my teeth or did any of my morning routines like sit on my porcelain thrown untill my legs are numb and taking a good shower to start the day. I didn't get much sleep last night that's why I'm so freaking sluggish starting up. I'm glad I don't have to work for a while because of my injuries. I don't know how retired people can do it. I just don't know what day it is sometimes, or what year it is being off this long. I need to hurry up and get the day started so I can get some food into me. I can't eat out right now because I spent yesterday $200 on my card to feed a whole group of people on a Sunday brunch. It was really good yesterday the food. I spent four eight people which I thought I have to, but my sister told me to go ahead order the food and pay for it on my card. I don't know what to do today just be lazy at the house and try to stay out of the Sun. I want to take a nap but my body says wake up yet it is so sluggish. The best thing is that I don't have to wrap my wounds anymore, and I could pick it scab. Hey, my doctor said I could peel my scab if I wanted to. He said some of the scab needs to be peeled because some of the bacteria will hide in it and you got to air it out. It was kind of weird that he would say that because most of the time people say don't pick the scab and let it just fall off. Well my wound doctor said I can go ahead and pick it so I'm going to pick it because it feels so good. Don't worry I got some ointment if it does bleed, but lately it haven't been bleeding when I pick out the scab. I don't know what I'm in the mood for for lunch and it's going to come close to. I think I probably eat some meatloaf that my wife cooked yesterday, if we have any since my boys munched it up. She makes the meanest meatloaf it's so good. After that I'm just going to take a nap I'm going to try to take a nap and go to some good dream.

I feel like what Miracle Molly said holds weight potentially but not necessarily. What I mean is she said that if he let go of his past he could become stronger however I believe Batman’s pain is what makes him as capable as he is. Batman after the death of his parents steeled his heart, and rained his body/mind to become the most capable hero despite his lack of powers. This to me is supported by the fact that heroes like Superman, Wonder Woman, Flash, Green Latern, and Shazam some of which have the powers of a god, or in the case of Wonder Woman she is a fucking god. Mind you these heroes have the power of gods yet they consider a human man an asset to them. Batman even has feats like killing Darkseid. To me this just supports his way of crime fighting. Although what supports Molly’s claims is Nightwing. Nightwing was someone who was allowed to confront his past, and healed arguably becoming as hero just as capable as Batman depending on who you ask.

But he has moved on from the past before DC ruined it by rebooting to the New 52. Batman no longer fought for vengeance but instead used his position so that no other person loses what he lost when he was a child. And he had stated in Batman and Robin comic series, that he would stop celebrating on how they died, but on how they lived and in honor of their wedding anniversary, which was when they died.

I'm glad this terrible run is finally over. The only thing great about this story was Jimenez's art. Tynion's writing is as worthless as his shallow cast of run of the mill, 2-bit OCs he shamelessly kept blood-vomiting into the DC universe. I can't help but roll my eyes when he throws multiple new characters into a single issue with little explanation or development. It feels overstuffed and really annoying. What bugs me the most is how hyped they are by editorial. They get variants, articles about them, one shots. All of the sudden, people can’t find a book because it’s been scalped to high heaven. They all feel like cheap derivatives of older characters, and lack the qualities that made the original characters interesting. It would help if he spent some time actually developing them instead of introducing them and then dropping them after an issue or two so he can introduce his latest OC. I mean, who the fuck still remembers The Designer? Look how he turned out... I would have been invested in the run more if Tynion slowed it down and really thought out a handful of his characters rather than making another knock-off rogues gallery. There's just too many new faces and I haven't heard any real compelling things happening with them. Most of them exist for bullshit reasons and retcon decades of lore. *Cough* GHOST-MAKER *cough.* Like all mistakes, I think they need to be fixed. 99% of these characters need to be fixed, written out or purged altogether. Killed off in spectacular fashion by the originals. I'd pay good money to see Deathstroke decapitate Ghost-Maker because he's blinded by his own hubris. Or Deadshot put a bullet between the eyes of that Jason (X) Voorhees wannabe "Peacekeeper 01."

Sadly I agree. I was so excited to see Scarecrow take the lead with this big story but you hit the nail on the head. Way to many new characters. It’s ridiculous! They need to get rid of half of them at least. I did like Ghost Maker but even including Poison Ivy was like….. Why? So much potential but they overdid it big time. Crane has the ability to be the main protagonist but not with all these other characters. You are right. They weren’t even fleshed out properly. Such a waste. So much potential. I do love Crane’s new look though.
