Dick himself (well, his ghost), gave Damian his blessings, hoping that giving him this mantle would get Damian to at least somewhat follow Dick's legacy. However, Dick had been sort of out of the loop, hadn't realized just how bad Superman had become, or how onboard Damian was with the Regime. So Dick almost immediately regretted it, but it was too late. But, yeah, to Bruce, it must seem like Damian is making a mockery of Dick, by wearing his costume while gleefully doing the opposite that Dick would have done. No wonder Bruce is so DONE with Damian by the first game.

Batgod? Bruce probably still has some lingering friendship for Clark, just like Clark does for him (he pushed him aside when he could have killed him in one shot). Its hard to completely forget the many years they fought side-by-side. Even now, with all the mutual resentment, something remains. Alfred had no such lingering sympathy. He also had just witnessed Superman outright break his surrogate son's back, making him extremely angry. And finally, Alfred is a former SAS, trained to take down a threat as quickly as possible. All of this made Alfred focus on demolishing Supes. Killing Supes outright probably would have taken more time, however, and Bruce needed immediate medical treatment. So he left it as a beatdown.

I mean ofcourse, Superman from this world isn’t really trained in martial arts hes just brawling with the heavy hitters, so if he actually fought someone like lets say Zod from New 52 who not only put the gods to shame with his force of power where even his GF was stated by Wonder women to be a warrior breaded for battle. if that Zod was here even if Batman had his pill, he would go down hard knowing Zod wouldn’t care for a human but still held down Superman and Wonder women with ease despite holding back.

I keep hearing that Batman should have left his code aside, which would have allowed him to fight the Regime more efficiently. The problem I have with that is that, if Batman had set his code aside, nothing at all would prevent him from joining Superman. Now, as a Regime member, and with no enmity between them, Batman would have been the main voice in Superman's ear instead of Wonder Woman. And while Batman would not tell Superman to listen to his vengeful instincts, he'd really up the 'control is for the good of the people'.

A bad argument. Years of following his code encouraged Injustice Batman to create Brother Eye, and ultra powerful spy network super computer that allowed him to spy and control things all across the world. Braniac simply had to hack it and disabling earth's defenses and communications was childsplay. Events where he loosens his code and others do as well when there's NOT some virus of some kind warping his mind (Joker virus, Doomsday Virus), he often becomes the biggest voice of reason. His constant accusations that he himself will go insane if he kills once, is constantly proven wrong in what if versions of that world's batman. Batman sees death, in the form of murder, as the greatest villain. Its irrational, to see murder as the ultimate villain in a world where SO much else goes on including constantly escaping murderous convicts, but Batman IS irrational. Not a psychotic killer one inch from existing, just a poor, deluded fool, especially in the coimcs. When Superman was angry at the criminals like Joker that were poised to escape any week with their track record, but still had most of his old sanity left, Bruce should of embraced him and told him that they were going to work together to get through it. Cause Supes was obviously right about a few things early on, the Arkham revolving door syndrome was not a solution, and others on the level of Joker's evil(and plot armor), which is rare, will seek nuclear weapons to replicate the joker. There was no future in that. What can Superman do besides take over? Batman could of worked with the rational thoughts they had left without Diana and transformed him into Kingdom Come Superman, someone willing to make hard decisions and call for change, but not lose sight of himself.

Superman should look like a child. The green pill put them on equal footing. You have to remember Batman is a world-class martial artist. When it comes to pure fighting skill, it's not even close. He is leagues above Superman in pure fighting skill. The fight should not have lasted that long. This was a brawler(superman) fighting someone who knows over a hundred martial arts. I always say when you take away heroes' or villains' powers or match them and see what they truly are made of. If you stuck both of them under a red sun, Superman would be a dead man. How the fuck did this even happen ? Pills only give you Strength and Durability comparable to a Kryptonian. Not Superman. He is still much much stronger. In fact we see Diana one shot Batwomen despite the pill. Not to mention insane gap in speed. Much less abilities like Heat Vision which were able to match Omega beams twice. Also Superman will have way more reaction time seeing Batman in slow motion. He would x ray his weak points. Hear his moments and see his blood flow. The pill grants super speed, the heat vision takes a split second to deploy, the invulnerability doesn't factor in when fighting beings on a similar level, and Injustice Superman has zero to very little combat training. He's also highly inexperienced at dealing with beings on his level as a whole. When you consider these things, it makes perfect sense for him to get dumpstered by just about anyone and everyone who is already at that level or takes one of those little green pills.

I'm up to Issue 26 now in Year 5. Superman was acting like a tyrant, but he didn't put Zsasz up to kill Alfred when Cyborg was watching the Batcave. In Issue 23 the Regime, including Superman were trying to find out how Zsasz got in there to begin with. Edit I made a mistake, it was Issue 24 that the Regime found out about Alfred's death.

I don’t understand why Superman is losing, I get that Batman is much stronger and endurable but man, that pill does not give u super speed and so Superman should easily win this. Literally in year 1 of injustice comic, him and Barry are literally having a speed conversation while they are at war against parademons, Superman literally comes to Barry to talk about killing and saying they have enough time to talk about it because they are fast so how the heck is Batman winning.

You can shit on someone faster and stronger then you, if you're the one who's Punches are connecting. Your opponent can 1-shot you, and it'll take you ten Punches to hurt them? Make sure they don't connect. Oh they survived a building collapsing on them? Guess what, some parts of their body are gonna be less durable then others, your throat or your eyeball are gonna be easier to hurt then your clenched ab muscles, even if you can bench a planet durability isn't equal over your whole body. You're 10× faster then me? I guess I'll have to use economy of movement, and counter you running at me from 10 feet away and throwing a big Haymaker by moving my wrist a couple inches.

This even ground stuff when it comes to the green pills is probably an overstatement. At most it increases strength, reaction speed,and durability to around superman levels, but superman still flies, has heat vision, ice breath and x ray vision, and he's usually way more creative and useful with these abilities than most other kryptonians. Had superman not gotten so sloppy he'd still be decking batman. But everyones written for the worse in this universe

Superman can go toe to toe against Darkseid. He was able to destroy an entire army of parademons which attacked the entire earth without breaking a sweat but he cannot fight against a roided out Batman. Also Damien never taking the pill but Bats popping pills like its candy is absolutely ridiculous. Yeah this fight was straight up BS. Batman has some of the strongest plot armours in this series. Without such insane plot armour Superman would have simply flattened Bats with or without pills. PS: In case some batman fanboy wants to go on about the pills I'd like to point out before hand the pills don't give you superspeed. It simply increases your durability and strength but its still not at the level of beings like Superman. Superman is still faster and stronger and has way more abilities than Batman on pills.
