Superman sent Zsasz to kill Alfred because Alfred beat the crap out of him earlier for breaking Batman's back, and then wanted Zsasz dead to cover up his tracks. And for those saying that he would rather kill Superman than a murderous psychopath, keep in mind that he wasn't actually going to kill Superman. He wanted to prove a point to Damian, that if he would kill people like Damian wanted then he should apply that logic to Superman as well. Superman had already killed tons of innocent people at that point, including Green Arrow, so I would say he counts as a deranged killer.

That's the thing about supes that everyone seems to miss. In the iterations like injustice, he's lost his humanity, and that's the one true thing that makes him so strong. He may be strong, alien, and absurdly fast, but he's not immortal, he's not unkillable, and he has nobody rooting for him in these situations. 3/4 of his will to fight comes from the urge to protect people. You remove that, and you're left with nothing more than a strong, flying asshole with heat vision and anger problems. Easy work for someone like bats, any time.

Ik that a female police officer overdosed with the thing and died trying to fight Superman or smth. And tbf, it kinda makes sense if you do not take a superman capable of destroying a planet with one punch into account. Increasing bone and muscle density by several thousand per cent is a nice equalizer. Also... Superman isn't known for being good in fights. Batman may have closed the gap even more by being a master at hand-to-hand combat. But of course, it's only a theory i just go with to enjoy the story.

She managed to keep Aquaman and Martian Manhunter away from helping Superman recover when his mind was mostly broken, and while she was repairing his mind, she filled his head with ideas of world domination. People forget that the Regime was Wonder Woman's idea, not Superman, she simply wanted Superman to be the leader once he was sufficiently brainwashed. What’s fucked was Superman was the one that ordered the hit. Alfred called him weak and pathetic for his actions in this universe and turning Damian against Bruce, so Clark had him killed so he could appear like the concerned friend and paternal figure to Damian. While Alfred had no kill code himself, he never wanted to see Bruce or Damian break theirs, as killing Zsasz here would not be a kill in defence, but indulgence. Batman wasn’t going to kill Clark either, but he held him up to show that he was still their superior whilst also standing his ground on his principles.
