I am always amazed how simply dry brushing something can make it look so much better, Most action figures have amazing sculpted detail that gets lost in cheap thick factory paint apps.

I post a lot on my Twitter/I normally can't do custom videos like Chris does, but I may make an exception. The problem I normally have with doing a video like that is that YT claims the music people have made for my channel & it's a pain in the ass to work around it. If I do post the video, it's gonna be a lot of me talking, but I will record video of me doing all the steps for the thing.

I think I'd have used a pale blue for the mesh parts of the suit instead of the chrome to make it look a little less metallic and robotic.

What are the odds, I have been binge watching all the other custom collectibles earlier, and as soon as I finish you post another one. Love from America Chris!!!!

That is so flat like he's really skinny underneath that suit it's missing like a oxygen freeze tank on the back you should make one

As a fellow Australian prop making KZbin channel, I recognise all those cheap paints and heat guns. Ha. I have the same ones. Also that 'ice' from the resin looked freaking awesome, never seen that before. Well done.

After watching this I really need to do my justice league Batmobile R/C take that grey off it and do it flat black with this dry brushing technique that you do. Awesome Mr Freeze figure!!!

Hi Chris, I was wondering how do you weather a leather motorcycle suit like it was uncovered from being in a grave for years. (Kinda an odd question) This is for my personal project for a “Ghost rider” fan film I’m trying to launch where This all takes place in the mid 79’s to early 80’s.
@chamoo2325 жыл бұрын
I would try to wear down some areas with sand paper and maybe use mat spray varnish to get rid of the shine. It might even add some cracks. Then some good old natural dirt would finish the look.
