I like that Batman actually seems a little... not necessarily "afraid" here but startled. A lot of times his efficiency gets flanderized to the point of making him robotic. It would have been a pretty disturbing (but cool) story to see Batman go through the trouble to build something that can murder his best friends (instead of him just having it). Seeing Batman go though the process of making his contingencies and question them would have been compelling from a character standpoint.

Agreed. For one, I don't think it makes sense to pack all his countermeasures into one suit. You are essentially placing all your eggs in one basket, so to speak. Personally, I think it's more tactically sound to create dedicated platforms for each Justice League member. Batman could have these assets be automated drones or remote controlled by Alfred, as even Batman shouldn't be able to keep up with all the Justice League members at once. Another problem is how writers just equalize Batman's tech with his enemies. Suddenly, Batman has a weapon that can track Flash's movements - no history of development or implementation in other designs. One last thing, I would like to see something other than Kryptonite or red sun-based weaponry for Superman. It's low hanging fruit at this point, when Superman has other weaknesses that are rarely exploited.

If they rushed him, hell if even a second one showed up, he would get one and be killed before getting to the other. Alfred could help too but that just means Batman has 2 fronts to defend: him and Alfred. The suit means it's all there ready to be used, easier to defend,easier to miaintain, and can do it himself like many things done right .That's the good thing about having your eggs in one basket that nobody ever seems to mention

Scenarios like this takes away what makes Batman so relatable in the way the others arent: He's human. No superpowers. The writers now have made that seem not to be the case. Some of these matchups would be over before Bruce even knew what hit him. Keep Batman in his lane. Bane and Killer Croc should be the most superhuman level adversaries he goes toe to toe with. Let’s be real, if any of the Justice league actually wanted to kill Batman, he would be dead. No, Batman’s suit could not keep up with the flash no matter how much money he spent on it. He would not even be able to comprehend that flash is coming. He would just be dead. He would not even realize he was dead. He would just go from eyes open, to nothing, as Flash vibrated his fingers through Batman’s face at faster than light speed. Superman would not waste time monologuing. He would punch through that suit like butter, fist through Batman’s face. Basically, how Omniman fought. No BS. Batman dead in an instant. Period.
