Funny, an early story of Batman shows what would happen if Joker wins. It showed him giving up being Joker, getting a new life, even almost getting married. Then Batman recovers, regains his memories, and returns. The Joker finds out and slowly descends into insanity, eventually returning and forgetting all about his new life.

I wouldn't be surprised if that's why they dropped that aspect to her character (I sorta prefer it this way, even if their N52 relationship leaves something to be desired) TBH, I'm half surprised Bruce hasn't got a few himself. Also, DKR is non-Canon to the mainstream continuity and so remains unaffected by the change. And so in that continuity, she was one.

Grim Chronos It's probably personal. I find myself incapable of getting hyped for these sort of things lately. Didn't even read Wolverine's death illegally! And the story "Endgame" I liked overall, but I couldn't care less about the apparent death. Again, it's very very subjective. +Armando Verdugo Before this all went down, Damian went on a redemption journey for things he did when he was with R'as al ghul. While he's there he hears the news about batman's death but doesn't believe it. he returns to gotham for the robin war and is really pissed that gordon is batman. when he sees bruce has amnesia he's incredibly heartbroken but doesn't do anything. i'm honestly still trying to piece it together

Superheavy shouldn't have happened. Batman (Bruce Wayne) had a definitive ending. This shoehorned story was just to get the original Batman back. DC Comics: Where NO ONE gets a happy ending.

He quits the commissioner job and goes back to doing the vigilante thing... citing that he trusted his own judgement over anything else and really understood why Bruce does it even more... and that it was just more fun. I think we're on to something here. It can open up more "...Vs. the Police force" stories. Maybe a "Gordon vs Wayne" fight where they disagree on a course of action, where Gordon wins and was right all along

Sorry Benny but the way you completely omitted Mr. Bloom's monologue about the gardeners and plants etc is a huge disservice to the story and character. Also Jim's internal monologue as he finishes off Bloom. Not saying you should have read it verbatim but at least do a quick summary. But it was completely ignored. It seems you focused too much on Bruce's return in the video, and while that is great, the true soul of the story IMO is Jim and Mr. Bloom battle with each other both literally and philosophically. Anyone wanting a better telling go check out +ComicIsland summaries. Of batman 47-50
