This entire episode is a tribute to the actor Adam West who portrayed Batman in the 1960's TV series. It also reflects his own personal life and career after he portrayed the character along with the struggles he faced finding work. Kevin Conroy once told the story of when he met Adam West he told him that he was the Batman of his childhood and Adam told him that he is now the Batman of others' childhood. Adam West unfortunately passed away in 2017 and Kevin Conroy passed away in 2022.

The legend Adam west may he rest in peace. Sad to see all of our amazing actors go away.

With how creative this mad bomber is, i’m surprised Amanda Waller didn’t force him to join the suicide squad Edit: seriously, the best she could come up with, for her suicide squad was a couple guys with boomerangs and guns? Just like this guy who was able to terrorize an entire city with just a couple modified toys. He was so dangerous that he had Batman calling for assistance. Just give him some military grade equipment to work with. He could probably solo the justice league.

Just hearing both Adam West and Kevin Conroy playing riles in this episode, it must've been a dream come true. I am happy I met Kevin a few times in person. ❤

Adam west is the iconic actor of the 1966 Batman series.

I will point out that The Mad Bomber villain created for this episode is designed to look like Bruce W. Timm, and he’s voiced by Timm too! Actually, he does shows up one last time in the season 2 episode called “Trial”. At the 8 minute and 13 second mark, The Mad Bomber is among a crowd of rioting Arkham inmates, he’s waving around a toy rocket.

Fun fact the producers and writers were worried that Adam West would be offended by the Gray Ghost character because it was a parody of his real-life type casting experience which he had suffered gradually in his career after the Batman show was canceled in 69. When they eventually got around to asking him they realized they shouldn't have worried because he was more than happy to voice the Gray Ghost

You gotta love how Batman was once a nerd, just like the rest of us. He really is one of the most relatable superheroes.

Crazy, if you watch from the beginning you can hear the remote controlled cars driving around before the buildings blow up🤯. Gotta love foreshadowing that isn't real obvious, reminds me of all the hints I completely missed from AoT💀. But you were right about the villain using drones, technically toy cars but practically in the same boat🤣. I find it bizzare that these villains are smart enough to make these inventions but turn to a life of crime😵💫, like there was a perfect robotics program you could have joined and made bank off of🤑. Not even worth being a bad guy in Gotham, the roster is filled with straight menaces that I wouldn't even work under😰. I wouldn't be surprised if the Gray Ghost put on the costume a few times and tried to stop some D- tier crooks, working with Batman would definitely boost my ego💪🤩

The mad bomber was really taking out buildings because he wanted to buy more toys.🤣 that's so true. Some of these villains could just work at wayne tech. Bruce would be way more happy to help them that way than to fight them every other Saturday.

Actually Adam West was the third. The first was Lewis Wilson in the 1943 Batman film serial The second was Robert Lowery in the 1949 Batman and Robin film serial
