I was never a big fan of Penguin as a Batman villain, but I think his portrayal in Tim Burton's film by Danny Devito was the most enjoyable, even if it was a bit exaggerated. I'm excited to see Farrell as Penguin in 2022, that's really different. I'll probably be streaming The Batman at home alongside my little kitties!! Thanks for the terrific video!! 😻💜💛

Burghess Meredith is still the Pinguin I miss most! Even more than Cesar Romero's Joker (Although I always liked Joker more, but he only gained strength with the Jack Nicholson version!) Danny Devito was also phenomenal in that role and I was really enjoying the Gotham series by Robin Lord's Pinguin! I thought the performance of this actor was very good! Tell me, boy: is this series still broadcast in the USA? Here in Brazil we have no more news of her !! Nice video, my friend !!

Burgess was the definitive Penguin. He was cunning, sophisticated and ruthless. I wish more modern versions of Penguin embraced the camp comic nature of The character more, instead of making him into a genetic mob boss. thank you Moody

Actually, Burgess Meredith was Dozier's third choice for the Penguin. Mickey Rooney was highly considered for the role, but he wanted too much money to play him. This is in Adam West "Back to the Batcave" book.
