That was awesome, and I love this idea that Batman's whole era came and went before superheroes like Superman and the rest of the League were around, makes it make a whole lot more sense that the big hitters never helped clean up Gotham. I suppose this means he'll kinda be the League's man in the chair and not a front-liner. And with Terry in the suit being so powerful, the League still gets an active Batman that has a better chance of keeping up with the others!!

I do like the idea of an aged old Bruce training a younger naive Clark. Gives off those Bruce and Terry vibes. Plus its got really cool parallels with Merlin and Arthur from Arthurian legend.

@@hairlessgrizzly559 I’m pretty sure some of them haven’t been born yet and also this takes place before the Justice League was formed. In the Batman: Beyond the White Knight(which is around a decade in the future after these events) Superman is literally JUST starting out his hero career.

This by far has been one of my favorite iterations of the Batman mythos right next to Injustice and Batman animated series. It does feel a little repetitive but it feels fresh enough that it is barely noticeable. I do hope they can continue it and expand it a bit. I will say that spoilers seeing Batman and Harley's love for one another blossom have been both interesting and intriguing to read about. It is a bit of a shame that you don't get to see Tim in this world (yet). I really enjoyed listening to this at work. It helps a lot.

Nightwing totally got Injustice Damian'd here. In the future and he is still nothing compared to an older Batman. Even though in other universes its often depicted he will one day surpass Bruce(even now in main current comics people are debating it). This future Nightwing should be beast mode,but he became part of the police instead. In Future State Gotham he was stated to have surpassed Bruce skills and in the Tim Drakes Batman future Tim said Future Nightwing was a stronger fighter than him,despite Tim Batman being easily equal to Past Nightwing&Red Hood and nearly equal to Prime Bruce You just know how writers feel about certain characters. Nothing wrong with that. It’s an Elseworlds/Black Label story for a reason, it’s not always supposed to be a 1:1 or logical unfolding of events as they’d happen in the main universe. It’s not like he’s the only character that’s been “done dirty”, look at Terry spending pretty much his entire miniseries as a pawn or Azrael being a cancer-ridden has-been. I like the change of narrative and perspective for the different characters.

Hi Benny! Love your videos (especially the Problem with... ones), but I had a question. I started rewatching the Justice League animated series and couldn't help but wonder what DC is doing lately with the Martian Manhunter. I tried googling around at Screen Rant or CBR but I only found old articles. There also wasn't any info on his Wikipedia page after DC Rebirth (and even for that there was only a short paragraph). Would greatly appreciate it if you could reply, but even if you don't see this I understand. Again I'm a big fan of the channel and I've discovered tons of cool stories only because of your videos so thank you.

After seeing the first part of this trilogy, it started to make me think about Joker/Jack. If Joker was born as a result of Jacks plunge into the vat of chemicals that bleached his skin, made his hair green, and gave him his iconic smile, then is Jack responsible for the things that the Joker did? Put simply, a person has split personality disorder. His alter then goes and commits a crime. Then how do you actually punish the one that commits the crime? 😊

It's just very illogical and a little bit stupid *try* of the BatQuinn ship, that doesn't even have sense, Murphy tried to explain their "love" but it's never was a real love, especially from Bruce to Harley (bc he really think that they're just friends) The truth is that BatQuinn shippers wanted Sean to have Bruce and Harley together and it happened but it's very unnecessary and illogical in this Universe. It would be more better if, Murphy just let Harley and Jack end up together and be happy, they deserve it But we have what we have... 😔💔

It's revealed Powers had FBI footage of a alien from Kansas which only made his fear grow futher over an invasion. A White Knight: World's Finest book is in the works,so we're expanding the universe and have no idea how this Supes will be. All we know is that Diana & John are government officials and have no background to their main counterpart. (Just yet?) It's at the end of the video

These stories are just fan fics that have been drawn. I mean it has some good qualities but the writer clearly doesnt understand the charcters in the universe enough for it to be considered cannon. This is the problem with multiple universes. Overall with all the things i dislike about it. It was still an interesting listen while i worked

@@zachkroeger7113 , yes, in Sean Gordon Murphy's White Knight universe, Jason Todd was the first Robin, making Batman's trauma over losing him even more believable, as Jason in this continuity was his first son, not his second. I agree that the romance between Bruce and Harley sort of came out of left field, but I'd argue that it's still believable because Harley had a crush on Batman/Bruce Wayne in the original animated series, revealed to us in the episode Harley's holiday, and since the White Knight continuity is based on the old animated series, it's reasonable that Bruce and Harley might pursue a relationship.
