It's different times, different movies, and he was the same person that he is. There is a lot of variables going into what makes a review. It's not that X movie got a C+ and Y movies got a B, so Y is better than X.. That is not tru at all. You also have to take into account that people were expecting different stuff from those to movies, the time that it's between them etc etc

I enjoyed 300 the same one I enjoy a cheesy action movie from the 80s. Dawn of the Dead was a solid remake but nowhere near as good as the original. Watchmen looks fantastic, the soundtrack is perfect, and a few performances are pitched expertly. Sadly, it lacks substance and the ending is so messy. Sucker Punch is an atrocity, Guardians of Ga'Hoole is so forgettable, and Man of Steel is the embodiment of mediocrity.

Noah Larose A stand alone Hawkeye movie could be great. When fraction wrote for the character it felt a bit like John wick. There's no end of the world senario or huge action set pieces, just a guy armed with a weapon invented during the paleolithic Era trying his dammedest to do the right thing. With a sharp script and a director who understands the character it could be great.

I think they shouldn't of put basically 3 story arcs in 1 movie. To me it's like Batman v Superman, The Death of Superman and the start of the Justice League all rolled together. They should of held off on putting in Doomsday after a few more movies. Like the stories are already there in the comics have been for over a few decades now. If they just translated the story correctly into a live action movie then it would of probably been a somewhat better movie than what it is now. Besides that Batman warehouse scene. That shit was awesome as all hell. I want more of that kind of Batman lol. And Jessie Eisenberg as Lex Luthor is like Topher Grace as Eddie Brock. A huge swing and a miss on that casting choice.

This movie shoud of been chopped up into 3 movies: One with only Superman and Lex Luthor. Where Lex multiple times tricks Superman into these bad situations to make him look bad and sow distrust between the public and Superman. It ends with Superman finally winning the trust of the public and fighting Lex in the LexSuit. One with Batman, Robin, one of the of the suicide Batman villains, and the Joker. Its just Batman being Batman (taking down crime), putting in prison one of the villains and ends with the Joker killing Robin. Batman goes berserk and goes hunting for the Joker. He causes a new reign of terror that he has never started before in Gotham. He puts all of the suicide squad villains in prison in the process which lead to the Suicide Squad movie later on. His rampage goes to Metropolis where he finally clashes with Superman. They fight over their different ideologies (hope vs fear). The movie ends up more like the animated cross over of Batman and Superman. The Joker and Lex Luthor cleverly orchestrate the fight between the two in order to get rid of their " Super Hero" problems.
