I've always been a huge Superman fan. I guess it's just me but it seems like Batman isn't any match to Superman's powers. For instance, his speed alone would penetrate Batman like melted butter at hypersonic speeds. Even if Batman has metal armor that is made from alien or terrestrial orgins, just the sheer impact would crush Batman's human skeleton. I can go on and on about how and why the many ways Superman could easily destroy Batman. I also understand the idea of, ' Suspension of Disbelief' but this 'versus' seems like a unrealistic idea these two characters to fight. I also know that Batman is highly intelligent, however, once again, he's also dealing with an advantaged alien mind process. Educate me on how this whole Batman vs Superman movie makes sense.

Ben Affleck has a badass Batman voice. And people said he cannot be intimidating. Well I was the one who was not so sceptic about Affleck. I think he can pull this out. I cannot get the Affleck hate on Batman. Everybody says that he will ruin the character, that Bale should still play Batman. RLY? As I see it Bale is a good actor but his acting as Batman was over the top and funny. Not one line comming out of Bale with that cancer infested voice sound serious. For me the Batman itself was the weakest part of the Dark knight trilogy.

Amirah Kukan Batman from the comics was 250 pounds, 6'4....Bale is not that...if anything Affleck is closer to what batman should be. Big men rule hand to hand combat, not the Hollywood 180 pound bullshit they would have u to believe.

Affleck looks actually kinda good as Batman. Hope this movie wont have this crapy shaky cam again, and that we will finally see some of snyders visual style in this franchise. If they dont mess it up again, this will be great. Ben Affleck can act, Daredevil means shit compared to his last films, I am more worried about Snyder and Nolan. Man of steel left no freakin impact on me, I really hope they put more effort in it this time.

You haven't read the comics have you? The dark knight was a fan fiction by frank miller because he loves batman. It takes time for kryptonite to effect superman, in the time batman pulls it out superman would have already crushed it in his hands.

Reading half of this thread made me laugh so hard. Obviously alot of you haven't read the comics. They fought a few times but in the very first Batman vs Superman, batman wins. Yes he uses kryptonite to lesser superman's powers that's the only way he could beat him. Without kryptonite no one can defeat superman. I think this movie is gonna smash box office hits with over 500 1st weekend.

I completely agree, you are the first person so far who has said this. A guy with every human weapon and vehicle at his disposal cannot defeat a guy who can only be killed if you take him to a place where their is less radiation than on earth e.g. Zod's ship, or another one of his species.
