After seeing the redemption arc of Bruce/Batman in the real JL:Snyder Cut, and his uniting of the seven, just makes me love BvsS:Ultimate even more. It's the "Empire Strikes Back" (still my fave Star Wars film) middle chapter of the three films: MoS (first contact & hope), BvS Ultimate (challenge & doubt), JL:Snyder Cut (faith & redemption).

There will be some 'lighter' moments I am sure, but for a trailer advertising a film where Batman wants to beat the shit out of Superman because he thinks Superman massacred hundreds of his people, you can't exactly expect many one liners and quips can you?

It's 2019 and to be honest I still love this movie I even have extended cut. Zack Snyder truly had vision for DC and everything ends. I still love Man of steel and his other peace of art it shows dark reality and people just wanted to escape this reality.

TheEvaGuy The big question is whether the movie will have any heart or humor. Sure, the DC movies are looking to be darker than the Marvel ones and that's fine - if Marvel has a weakness it's that they tend to be too light hearted at times. However, Man of Steel lacked pretty much ANY humor or heart which pulled down a potentially great movie to a merely pretty good one. You can't have a movie that is just unremitting darkness and angst. Please, please let this have enough humor and heart to make the main characters seem human and not just walking (flying) emotional disasters!

Ranillon The thing is though, that DC does include humor in their films, it's just a lot more subtle. Where Marvel's humor is in the foreground and dialogue, DC's is more of a circumstantial and background quality. It's kind of like the dark and sarcastic humor in the original Willy Wonka film.

Jackson Meade I personally didn't like it not because of Supes killing Zod or the destruction of metropolis. I did the like it because I didn't like how the represented the characters (expect Zod) the lame plot, the 50 supposed insipring speech, and a bunch of other stuff. However if you liked it I envy you. I have watched this movie 3 times hoping to chance my opinion but it hasn't worked. But this new movie does look really good and I'm hyped for it.

Plot points I've got from this: - Superman is on trail for what happened in Metropolis. - Some close to Bruce died in Metropolis. The Wayne tower gets destroyed. - Batman comes back from retirement, Clark is writing pieces for the newspaper. - Superman continues to save people, but feels conflicted because most of humanity despises him. - Superman destroys a rocket for some reason? - Lex recover's Zod's body to experiment on. To make a super suit - The Joker has killed Jason Todd here, leading to Batman's retirement in the first place. - Superman has an army of guys with guns in the desert.????? Starts a fight with WW - Someone is dressed like Batman (does't look like Affleck) from the Red Son comic - Luthor finds kryptonite (probably causes him to go bald and loose those sexy locks of hair) - Luthor is deffo orchestrating the whole thing - People punching and shit

Interesting trailer. Obviously Superman looks awesome. Batman is great too, and I am about 70% pleased with Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman. She looks beautiful and awesome as Diana Prince. The clothes make her look bigger- especially in that very first scene that shows her. She actually looks kind of broad - not too thin at all. However, when she is in the Wonder Woman costume...well that's another story. I have to admit she does look bigger than she used to be, but I had hoped she would get more buff than this.

***** Superman's power does not come from being muscular- but everyone still expects him to be buff. There is a double standard there. Superman and Batman have to be buff - but NOT Wonder Woman? If muscles don't matter, why do any of them need to be built? "most" interpretations of Wonder Woman that I have seen show her larger than Gal Gadot. You are correct about Lynda Carter, but Lynda Carter was on a 1970's tv show that had obviously corny elements to it. The tv show used to show a Barbie doll riding in a toy plane that was supposed to be the invisible jet. It was down-right comical. With equal rights and equal expectations "supposedly" being more relevant in 2016 than in the 1970's, I would like to have seen a Wonder Woman that looks more up to par with her male counter parts.
