My theory is that she came from a very abusive home and family and that basically drove her to insanity however the only thing to make her laugh were clowns and she probably had a thing for them after a while. When she grew up she probably just wanted to have some fun and so became Harley Quinn to make herself happy. She probably also made herself a hobby of making “doll” family members

This violent and psychotic version of Harley which was mainly associated with the first run of the Suicide Squad comic series before it was cancelled was not well received and so was short lived. I mean it went over better than the disastrous first attempt at a solo Harley series back in the early 2000s when they tried to make her a female Joker but still not good. After this is when they rebooted her into the softer and more likeable anti-hero you mainly see now.

funny thing you said that since there was a tie-in comic for this batman. cause when he killed joe chill he accidentally infected him with the virus that turned him into a vampire. the difference is Joe Chill can regenerate from all kinds of injury including being decapitated, which this batman did and then separated joe's limb in different containers to prevent him from re-attaching himself. chill also went insane when he got infected and was somewhat like joker.

In real life, I'm not sure about using the death sentence on criminals who could be rehabilitated? But for human monsters who kill and kill and will never ever change? Yeah just put them done like mad dogs. Rorschach said it best, "Men go to jail, Dogs get put down!"
@13.794 жыл бұрын
Batman isn't scared to kill lmao
@MutualSOUL4 жыл бұрын
@@13.79 I think part of the reason for that is because the Batman series is a case-study on the effects of dangerous mental illness. More often than not, Arkham's Rogue's Gallery exists because the people who are meant to treat them are either too lenient with violent psychopaths, or not lenient enough with people who legitimately are teetering on the edge of madness, yet haven't quite gone over the edge yet. Similarly, the industries surrounding psychiatry and psychotherapy are flawed in that a good doctor of the mind must not only understand book knowledge, but also human nature; sadly, someone who is as understanding as they are sharp-witted is exceedingly rare in the world we know of, and the Batman series reflects that. Batman isn't scared of killing, he's scared of the thought of what will happen to him, his personality, and his mind, if he starts killing. He's seen too many otherwise sane people go mentally downhill from odd quirks, unfortunate accidents, and misguided intentions gone awry: Harvey Dent, Jack Rider, Harleen Quinzel, Pamela Isley, Victor Fries. All of these names have the aforementioned in common, one way or another. We've seen in the Injustice series, as well as with the Justice Lords, how quickly superheroes can turn from otherwise law-abiding vigilantes to totalitarian dictators if they set their personal ideals aside for reasons that could possibly go wrong somehow. (Frank Miller, however, has written a Batman with more common sense and discernment with his one rule; there's even a trope named after it, "Batman Grabs A Gun", in which Frank Miller's Batman realizes his one rule only applies when a death ultimately saves more lives. In "Return of the Dark Knight", Joker gets out of Arkham and starts killing people on rampages again, and Batman decides that the Joker finally has to die. I would highly recommend reading the comic or watching both parts of the movie, though, if you want an idea of how Batman could keep his one rule, and also not follow it so strictly it jeopardizes Gotham in the process.) That's why Batman has Robins as his sidekicks for the longest time; he was hoping they would be worthy successors, who could learn and overcome his failures, perhaps learn to save lives in ways that Batman and his own mindset could not imagine. I am rather surprised that there's not a timeline within the DC in which Jason Todd becomes the new savior of Gotham. (Though, I do hope that my children might live to see it. LOL) Anyway, that's my short ramble on why the Batman series operates under the rules it operates, with the concepts of the frailty of the human mind and how easy it is to slip into self-delusion at the core of its rationale.

There are pently of times people could have yoked him back by it and stabbed him in the eye or neck or something. Sure he can't glide around, but he's slighty safer, and isnt running around like bootleg Dracula/ Nosferatu.

I wish this movie had just been more of this, rather than a new Darker Justice League alt verse. Would have loved to see just a movie about Kirk going around battling, eating, and deciding who gets to just go to jail in a moral dilemma. It's not a bad movie, just seems rather familiar for a movie trying to do something slightly different.
