Wasn't it clear from Brainiac himself that this is basically an alternate Universe? He was even telling the 4 that he would unleash them into the Multiverse. And one thing, in the Injustice Animated movie, it seems that every alternate universe thinks that their universe is Earth 1, meaning that even if these guys are referring to their Universe as Earth 1, most likely it ain't. DC is flooded with the whole Multiverse, Death and events have gotten to the point of being as inconsequential as events and death in freaking Rick and Morty. So apparently the senior members apparently went to Warner bros and asked to ether a superman game or a Batman beyond game. While the current heads of rocksteady will call bull on it, a bunch of concept art was leaked for the game for superman which looked to be pretty awesome. Eventually Warner bros said they wanted a suicide squad game and the senior staff gave up and left after that. Can’t say I blame them.

It's honestly silly how badly they had to nerf the Justice League to tell this story and the amount of times all members of the Suicide Squad could've been absolutely destroyed by any of the JL throughout the game. I know the game is called Killing the JL , but I and most people are not upset by their death, but rather by the humiliating way in which they were killed without respect or scenes befitting their names. Batman dies without a fight honoring his name and he listens to Harley's insults like a brat, while he was weak, surrendered and the Batman we know would fight until his last breath and die with honor. flash. The fastest man alive was hit by bullets and beaten in a humiliating way, and Boomerang was going to urinate on him. Green Lantern had a short fight and then fell to sleep on the ground and listened to Deathshot's taunts. Superman gets showered with bullets and goes down like nothing، Even though Wonder Woman fought him with her great power and kryptonite and lost, these clowns defeated him and end the glory of the JL like that 😐😐😐

The remaining members of the league that weren't infected try to stop him. Wonder woman has a sword that's imbued with both magic and kryptonite. She cuts his arm off and stabs it through, but he almost kills her in one punch through her stomach and she succumbs to the virus. The point made is that a superman that's bloodlusted isn't holding back, so wonderman never stood a chance against him. Batman says it all the time, we only can beat Clark if he let's us beat him.
