I had this issue when I watched the death battle. I feel that the Hellbat suit was hacked to easily, I feel like since it was programmed by Cyborg it would be able to detected that someone was hacking the suit and deploy countermeasures to combat it. Also, I would think it would detect the nano bat suit that was put into Batman’s body, I think it should have been able to detect that and get that removed too.

The facts are - Ironman wins as long as Batman doesn't see him coming. That's the flat rule. Batman is the greatest detective, but not the smartest man. Tony is smart, but not the smartest man. I mean neither of them pulled out their crazy feats or alternate comic feats or their best feats. It was a good battle, but I always hate to see bats lose. Off the top of my head, Lex Luthor and Reed Richards are much smarter.

He's extremly downplayed in these fights. He shouldn't be featured on,as stated in DB rules,fighters have no knoweldge of the other fighter abilities and capabilities. The only thing they remove is the refusal to kill,in case of heroes and such. But Batman's greatest weapon is his scheming abilities,without info he's just Batman. But with info he's much more deadly. Also they still haven't taken Batman's krypto pill,the one used in Injustice,it is not far stretched to not have it or access to it. And I'm sure Injustice is pretty much cannon,everything is cannon nowdays in DCU & MCU,when they use multiverse. That pill can withstand power from the likes of Darkseid,WW and Superman's extreme might. Batman with the pill would be invulnerable to whatever Tony would throw at him. Edit And if the excuse "can't stand power X" or w/e because it's a game. Keep in mind they used "Test your might" in MK fights and Android 18 siphoning abilities,abilities which were only present in the Xenoverse games.

@@liviubostan7229 The pill isn't canon just like Injustice, and multiverse doesn't solve it either since the Prime Earth Batman doesn't own it and never did. We can't just give characters different artifacts that they never owned. Why don't we just give Ironman a cosmic cube then. Or even the Infinity Gems, something's he's had in his possession before. Also take into consideration Injustice Superman is one of the weakest versions of all time. Someone beating Injustice Superman doesn't mean they can defeat Prime Earth Superman. But maybe if it was a multiverse fight Batman could win, since the most powerful version to my knowledge is White Lantern Batman and the most powerful version of Ironman is either Sorcerer Superme Ironman or Infinity Warps Thor Ironman to my limited Ironman knowledge. For 616 Prime Tony Stark probably his celestial armor which might already be enough. Unless we include Batman Who Laughs as The Darkest Knight empowered by Perpetua.

Other than the fact that the final suit is the most powerful suit out of the two of them, there’s also the white lantern suit which made him one of the most powerful characters in the world, there’s also the green lantern, black lantern and yellow lantern suit which are all insane, and obviously The Batman Who Laughs who has the powers of a god known as ManHattan who is the most powerful DC character in the universe. Batman has destroyed 57 universes as that version, so he’s 100% more powerful than iron man. Some notable mentions are the insider suit, exoframe powered suit, stealth suit, thrasher suit, haz-bat suit, justice buster, winter white Batman, vampire Batman, suit of arrows armour, mask of tengu suit, Batman Beyond, armoured suit, knightfall, Superman suit, bat wing suit, man bat serum suit, kingdom come suit, augmentation suit, thrasher suit and to top it off with another really good suit, the justice suit.

Death Battle inaccurately and somewhat disingenuously described this ability as simple “mind control” and “mind altering” and then quietly brushed it aside because Tony has tech which can counter telepathy... even though the Final Batsuit goes way beyond simple telepathy. It’s clear who they wanted to win.

There is no plot here, both sides were prepared out the gate, it just came down to wild cards, Bats wasn't aware of the nano armor.

@@Zhello79 Really both were prepared? In what way did Batman show he was prepared? When did Batman show his deductive skill's? Did Batman use his intelligence? What was Batman's plan, punch Ironman really really really hard? Tony on the other hand snuck into the watch tower bypassing all it's defenses. Placed 25 lbs of nano machines on Batman. Some how knew Batman would be so punch happy he would fallow his deco suite to earth. Then ambush him with all the armors. Then his plan was to let Batman destroy a lot of his armors and break his arm before finally deciding to activate his trap. Any powerful armored hero or villain could have replaced Batman and nothing would have changed. I get they have been wanting to animate this but it makes no sense. Batman is not Batman and Tony is the smartest dumb person ever.

@@Legacyartist the usage of armor use to counter Tony and ability to down some armor in a db setting, excluding intros like what you mentioned. However the usual wild card was used at the end. Played out like when they fought before to a degree but dbx was vote based. You seem to be going the comic vine route, friend. Last bit is true but remember Tony has a surplus of suits. The only reason he lost to Batman in dbx was because he used one suit. On the other hand Batman also has Nth Armor but they only gave him the HB suit whereas Tony had several.

Maybe, they have fought similarly powerful beings, but since the DC Universe is technically bigger, and the HellBat actually BEAT Darkseid, rather than the GodBuster which only faced the Celestials, the HellBat held bigger chance of having the advantage. Though the GodBuster was more than strong enough to hold his ground until the end and give Tony the edge he needed to overcome it.

@@QuadZillaGodZillasbrother No actually, the HellBat was stronger than Justice Buster since it was a suit made by Batman and specifically to face the Justice League, so many of it’s functions were not useful against Iron Man’s armors, and it likewise could not counter Tony’s armors. But the HellBat was made as a joint project of the Justice League, it wasn’t made for a specific purpose, it was just made for Bat’s to reach Godlike levels, and was strong enough to beat Darkseid himself. Seems like someone didn't watch / forgot about Ratchet & Clank VS Jak & Daxter. On that note though, in the death battle cast about that fight, the team noted that it was easier than most other duel ideas because both pairs typically fight as a singular unit. Clank and Daxter are can almost be considered extensions of Rachet and Jak, since they're almost always fighting as a team in their source material. Having disparate characters with little-to-no established synergy teaming up against each other is much harder to analyse and choreograph.

Batman probably wouldn't know exactly what Tony did and in a DB he can't get help. So if Batman instead of monologuing demanded Tony remove the Nano machines it would explain a lot of Batman's battle choses and why he didn't go for the head. Batman was desperate and had little time to waste that's why he would risk his life in the Hellbat. Tony then blows Batman up of course.

@@Legacyartist It would depend on his Bat suit cowl and how heavy the nano tech is granted Bats was as with all DB fighters tend to get exhausted at the end. They could have him detected it while in the hell bat suit and do something afterwards but they didn't. The nth armor could have easily been used but it was never mentioned even in explanation. My guess is they have Batman talking at the end because if he got to Tony without saying anything he would have ended the fight, which would mirror the alternate ending in their fight on DBX. All in all they essentially had him fight Tony like 3-4 times now. They should make Tony fight Machine Man for he is more of a match mainly when it came to suits. Lastly Tony had several suits to use, they didn't get Bats much expect the HB suit and they gave him the basic bat suit.
