The concept of Taskmaster makes him unbeatable with any fight due to his very high adaptability and ultra fast learning; and setting up traps to kill or constrict movement might be the only way to keep him down. With that said, actual comic Taskmaster is a letdown and has very bad track record (sort of like Boba Fett in SW) unlike Batman who is more consistent in winning and his concept properly executed. Batman wins in a landslide imo. Even without prep time

Most superheroes have some sort of weakness for Batman to exploit. Wolverine has no apparent weaknesses. The only way to stop him is to straight up overpower him. It would take someone with Superman level strength to do so.

I don't see why anyone would have a problem with the outcome. This all boils down to who was better and that was Wolverine and his healing ability. Before I start getting nasty comments, think about this. We give each character prep time for the battle, say a month to study their opponent and try to come up with a counter that would give them the edge to try and win the fight. However, their opponent also gets that months worth of prep time to do the same and come up with counters to their counters. Thus, it once again boils down to who is better and it comes down to Wolverine once again. Yes, Batman has spent years honing his mind, body, and spirit to overcome every obstacle that he has ever faced. There are even some rumors that he has been taken in by a Bat Totem, which is why Superman even has a hard time hearing him coming or going. Yes, Batman is the World's Greatest Detective. Yes, Batman knows over a hundred martial arts. Yes, Batman knows all sorts of tricks and things that allow him to escape out of sticky situations. But, he is still-at the end of the day-a mortal man. And mortal men do get hurt, they do get tired, and they do die. Of course, no one really stays dead in the DC or Marvel universe for very long, but let's say in this instance that he does truly die. Wolverine on the other hand, if we go by the Wolverine Origin story, has lived for over 200 years and fought in countless wars in all that time. Yes, due to his loss of memories, he doesn't remember much of it, but you can't get rid of instinct. He would have the muscle memory to be able to counter much of what Batman might know. Yes, he would be a little slow at first and get hit a few times. But as the battle continued further and further, his body would start reacting to the things that Batman was doing and begin to counter them. Then, we come down to Wolverine's mutant ability. An ability while, I don't think it's considered an Omega level ability, it should be. Wolverine literally can't get hurt. He can smoke all the cigars he wants and never have to worry about addiction or cancer from them. He can drink as much alcohol as he wants and never have to worry about getting drunk or liver failure. Hell, he has his bones covered in metal and would be dead from metal poisoning if it weren't for his ability. So, that being said, he could take anything that Batman could dish out and still keep coming back for more without ever stopping. He wouldn't get tired, he wouldn't get hurt, and he wouldn't die from a mortal wound. And yes, I know that there has been instances where he has "died" (such as having molten metal poured over him or having his entire body incinerated and leaving nothing but the skeleton), but we're considering the fact that these characters can actually die in this battle. So, this fight-and I have to come back to it again-would have to involve prep time. If Batman had the time to study Wolverine, understood about his mutant ability and the properties of his Adamantium skeleton and claws, he would have been able to come up with several different ways to defeat Wolverine-such as a chemical that he could coat his Batarangs with that would inhibit Wolverine's healing ability or a weapon that would shatter the Adamantium in his claws or bones on contact. But, then you would have to give Wolverine the same amount of prep time and he would (probably) have others help him come up with things that would protect him from anything Batman could do to him. So, the prep time would actually become moot because it would become a battle of, "I do this." and "I counter that." and so on and so forth. So, while it is a good battle and I know people seem to be upset by it, this battle ended the way it did. With Wolverine and his healing ability and Adamantium claws taking down the Bat.

Logan has an edge against Batman physically, and Batmzn is FAR more skilled, intelligent and tactical. In a random encounter in a small space, Logan would win like in the video. In a more spacious environment, Batman can maneuver more freely, and avoid Logan attacks. Batman in the comics has had several skill up grades. Wolverines healing factor is not close to deadpool's healing factor deadpool's healing factor is insane to the point he can fix himself up and he heals faster than logan. B. The only thing I think that could have been different is once Batman realized he was outmatched physically he would have gotten out of there. Fighting someone like Wolverine in close quarters in a random encounter is risky business, and I think once he got knocked through that wall (after he'd seen the claws, of course) he would have retreated and possibly thrown a tracker on Wolverine for surveillance. However, I get the fact it's a death battle so someone had to win. The rematch shows Batman's prowess with knowledge of his opponent.

With Wolverine’s heightened agility, senses and combat experience he would destroy Batman. On top of that Wolverine goes for the kill and Batman will always have to hold back. Hand to hand combat won’t matter because Batman won’t be able to inflict enough damage to stop Wolverine. Even with prep time I still don’t see Batman doing enough to stop Wolverine indefinitely and that would be Batman’s downfall

Batman, probably thinking he's going after Catman, definitely would be unprepared for Wolverines ferocity and powers and even though Batman's the better fighter he would tier sooner and be hindered by the accumulation of punishment where as Wolverine would not. If Batman could not find a way to take Wolverine out quickly then he would most definitely lose the fight but I don't believe Wolverine kills an unknown opponent just for pissing him off. Batman would have to push Wolverine into a Berserker Rage for that to happen, he doesn't kill wantonly.

He asked Black Widow to help him train and resharpen his combat skills because he had been relying on his healing factor for so long that his fighting ability had gotten quite rusty. In this fight its his healing factor that enables him to over come Batman's various fighting styles. And even though Wolverine knows many fighting styles him self he's never bothered to become a master of any of them.

Wolverine has way more training and fight experience. Batman went and trained with some ninjas for a few years. Wolverine has done that for decades. Plus Wolverine is stronger and faster. No way Batman would be able to win a fight (and of course Wolverine would win long run regardless)

If Superman went mad and decided to grab the other planets and ram them through Earth, nothing to do about that. Laser eye you to death from space before you knew what hit you? Nope. People act like it's a "win every scenario" case, but there's scenarios that you can't win. Plus even with all this, he's been pushed to his limited and broken by his own villain gallery too. So, not the ultimate answer. Just like Supermans strength, he's been taken down. All comic heroes suffer and have issues, otherwise there wouldn't be much of a comic to read and write. Their preservance, endurance, not giving up and ability to adapt is what gets them through. That's their real strength.

Hey, I'm not sure if it's been done already, but I've noticed your Batman Beyond character in the background, and was thinking how awesome it would be to see Terry McGinnis as Batman Beyond, fight it out with a character within his timeline. I can't think of which character would go best with this, but I think with the futuristic abilities and the character himself, would make for an awesome battle. Maybe with Bruce Wayne talking with him and giving battle stats threw the headset as he did in the series

I look at this fight under the assumption that this was a 'first encounter' scenario. The X-men hide their existence pretty well. Even among those who know of them, you can't just guess their abilities at a glance, so even if Batman knew of him he'd have no way of known about Wolverine's durability or regenerative prowess. Batman has a standard arsenal he carries with him at all times and no matter which series you look at he doesn't have anything that would really bother Wolverine. Without preparation time, plus Wolverine overshadowing him in combat experience, the odds of him winning the first encounter are pretty slim. With Wolverine not being afraid of killing there's not likely to be a second round either.

Would Adamantium even be conductive to electricity? Even if so, it would take a massive amount of electricity to even stun him. That would have to be in the right conditions to ensure it didn't simply pass through his feet. Personally, I don't think Bats could do any real physical damage to Logan hand to hand. Pressure point strikes, joint locks, bone breaks, organ shots... they'd all get tanked. He's been hit flush by Marvel's strongest and got up. The only way Batman wins is by overloading Logan's nervous system to short out his H.F

I agree with pretty much everything you said (I think Batman's superpower is his determination/willpower--which is often employed the way you said; to find his oppenents' weaknesses and defeat them--but also to train himself to peak human capabilities and to hone his mind to the same level as geniuses like Sherlock Holmes and even a fair amount science and forensics). However, I don't like how the fight ended. It was too quick. I understand that Batman beat Wolverine, as far as he knew, and then assumed he was dead. However, I don't see him letting down his guard to the point that he loses any and all situational awareness. He's suffered far worse injuries than that. He would have noticed that Wolverine got up and walked over to him. I think the fight would have continued for a bit with Batman getting slower and weaker before succumbing to his wounds. I'm certain he's been through far worse injuries and fought through most, if not all, of them. At least for a time 😉. This was just too easy of a win for Wolverine. He should have had to work for it just a bit more at the end 😉.

I think the episode was right. Only because, every episode except the first one was about votes. So asking if wolverine was the right winner for the fight is like asking if Superman is the right winner against Thor, or if Vader is the right winner against Batman, etc. Wolverine won because he had the most votes. So judging if the outcome was right or wrong just ruins the purpose of the whole show.

Batman need to study him 1st, learn about adamantium, discover military documents on wolvie and his healing factor, how he fight because wolvie didn't care if he get hurt so he use a special fighting style that nobody can realy use witout a healing factor. Batman will learn it all BEFORE finding conter mesure for someone like wolverine. After all, Logan IS weapon X. Using metal again wolverine is not a good idea, but incapacitating him with VERY powerfull sedative can and will put wolverine to sleep for a short time. Batman will use that then do the necessary to KEEP wolverine stuck in some hard matter like metal making sure wolverine cant use his hands/claws. In hand to hand, yup there is no way witout prep time Batman can win. Wolverine IS a hardened fighter/ military man. You cant play with him. The man survived even the hulk in a one of on. Is a master tracker/hunter is close to immun to radiation/toxin, heal fast AND can rage. Fghting an army of ninja is nothing to him at all and only some specific super powers can make him flee or hurt him. Ps : love those 2 and ya, witout prep time?= Wolverine win with prep time, Batman need to test thing to see what work and can't make mistake twice or wolverine will know his identity and/or when there is a trap

The thing that is great about this video, Batman vs Wolverine is that even unprepared, Batman does beat Wolverine. He thought the fight was over. There is only one problem, he did not know about Wolverine's healing factor which is what turned it around and lost the fight for Batman, ultimately. It is brilliant the way you did it, and is likely how it could have happened. I think Wonder Woman vs Wolverine is your best vs video.

Carnage vs. Spawn. Battle of insanity and adequate insanity. Carnage has his host cletus. Which makes him himself believe he can take on anything and anyone. His rage and the drive he has to kill HIS enemy before him makes him a challenge for spawn. Spawn is Albert at heart but has the insanity of a man who died and came back to reek havoc across the evil in the world. Let’s say it’s a spawn with his memory intact and past his origin and seen as a hero or enemy by the world. The match would be very equal but could favour in spawns hands. They share very similar abilities with spawn having more to offer. But carnage is a force. His psychotic behaviour would lead spawn to him, and could be what carnage wants. But it’s also what spawn wants making it a really equal battle. Even though spawns teleportation would probably prove carnage a challenge but he welcomes pain as he’s insane but “heals real fast”. Same with spawn, though the symbiote is very intelligent and could anticipate the next place spawn would be. Or release a giant bubble around cletus and shoot the hell out of spawn and wear him down to the skin beneath his shell. Pun intended. But spawn could just reach into a beaten carnage and take cletus to hell with him. Burning carnage right in front of cletus to suffer with those carnage and him took away from the world. I say it would be close to a stand still. But spawn doesn’t hesitate to rid evil from the planet, and carnage doesn’t hesitate but is cocky. That could play into spawns hands or into cletus’. As spawn does have the responsibility of his family. Cletus has no limit, and spawn could easily be manipulated/distracted if cletus had them as hostage

I think Batman vs Wolverine was a good pairing. True, Wolverine does have a healing factor and an adamantium skeleton, but he's by no means completely indestructible. Hulk has torn him in half, Apocalypse has torn his arms off, Magneto ripped his skeleton out, and Deadpool cut his head off with a blade made of carbonadium, which makes his healing factor ineffective. Another thing to consider is Batman doesn't kill. He's been trained to outthink his opponent by several moves before the fight has even started. As he's fighting you, Batman's watching for weaknesses; timing your responses and reflexes, observing areas you're trying to protect, testing your reactions and watching in areas you're struggling in. He's gone up against superhumans, aliens and gods, and he still keeps getting back up for more. As for why they would be fighting, Wolverine's most notable weapon is his claws, which are mostly used for stabbing and slicing. Perfect weapons for killing. Anyone takes a life in Gotham City is going to be made a target for the Bat. As for why Wolverine would be in Gotham, it is a city of crime, and there are plenty of X-Men enemies who might go there in order to broker a deal in the criminal underworld.

Didn't see that coming, NGL Personally, I think Batman should have won cause Wolverine's combat skills has diminished over the years due to relying too much on his healing factor and Batman has masters countless forms of martial arts (as did Wolverine but not as many, if I'm not mistaken). In terms of hand to hand combat, Batman would be able to keep up, his advantage would be he'd figure out how to deal with Wolverine's "advantage" while Wolverine would just deal with Batman like any other person he'd attack. But even without prep time, he should be able to do well against Wolverine, maybe he wouldn't win against him but I feel like he should've done better than he did in the video.

Just remember he was not planned to know wolverine abilities and even if he did , he would have no affect since this Wolverine is a Killer Batman doesn't kill. Honestly the best thing Batman could do is make a freezing Gadget just to buy time only for planning. While knowing that he might find it even harder once Wolverine is free. Because Wolverine would find him for sure due to His Animal Senses. Heck it took nearly the whole members of the Avengers to stop Wolverine. Once he found a way by infiltrating through the Vents of their ship. One of the most impressive things more than his own abilities i actually like.

I would say 9/10 wolverine would win due to his healing factor. Especially in the scenario they presented because batman regularly jumps in head first in his first encounters with his villains and usually loses and manages to escape then comes back and wins later. Against wolverine, escaping would be harder. Even with prep time batman would likely lose due to the healing factor. With the right plan though, I can see batman winning. If it's not a fight to the death and just to knock out then I'd say it's more 50/50
