What's more interesting in this matchup is that since Batman knows that Deadpool doesn't really die, he can fight him all out 100% even with murderous intent. We've always been accustomed to see Batman fight holding back so he doesn't kill criminals and thugs but with an enemy that is virtually impossible to kill, Batman can finally go all out.

I'm actually ok with this outcome. Batman has superior training and technology, and normally has to hold back to avoid killing his opponents. With Deadpool, he doesn't have to worry about that, and can afford to go full-lethal. Now if we're talking, lock the two in a cage and have them fight to the death, Deadpool would obviously win because Batman is ultimately mortal, and would eventually tire out and succumb to his mounting injuries. But in an individual skirmish such as this, Batman has the advantage.

So I was a bit surprised at the outcome here (though still pleased), but then I thought about it... and it kind of makes sense. Batman usually doesn't use the full potential of his skills or his arsenal because with a very few, very specific exceptions, he does not kill - he wants to take you down without taking your life. So as soon as Deadpool said he couldn't die, it was like Batman thought, "Well then... I don't have to hold back this time!"

There is no problem with like a superhero/villian or having them win a battle or two. However, We must understand that Batman is human and we shouldn't build him up too much. We must also understand that Deadpool can be defeated, despite his regeneration ability. Just because He can't die, doesn't mean he is impossible to beat. Again, I love both characters. Batman is a classic hero and Deadpool is funny and awesome character.

This should be redone. First saying Batman can study and win the battle is false, as Deadpool has an unorthodox style of fighting in which he changes his fighting style with each battle. Second, Batman doesn't kill, even his fanboys would agree, so Batman already lost right there. Third, Deadpool has teleportation and a magic sac which he can get any weapon he wanted if he wanted too. This means he could dodge bats and use an rpg to destroy him completely. That costume would be the best for me, if the chestplate didn't have a slightly different color than the waist section. Besides, its rich texture and color from the still images wasn't very well explored in the movie itself IMO. Concerning live action suits, I think that the Battinson costume is a bit of a step back, especially after the Batfleck costumes, which were, for the most part, on point. The Battinson costume is a return to that plated, no-contrast look from the Nolan Batsuits. It has some dark Grey in it (opposite to Nolan's all-black treatment), but it looks too militarized and I'm not sold on the leathery cowl and neckpiece yet.

i agree with frank. the only person ever able to outsmart batman was the joker... a certifiable maniac, who has no real plan, or rather is so smart that he doesnt need one. deadpool is too much like the joker in that regard... yes batman wouldnt have to hold back with deadpool like he does with others, but deadpool is just too unpredictable. besides, blowing him to bits isnt enough to stop him.... if anything it makes him more dangerous... his healing factor is insane enough that someone once made a second deadpool by stitching together deadpools dismembered bodyparts into a frankenstein monster, effectively creating TWO deadpools. you cannot kill deadpool or beat him.... the only way to defeat him is by trapping him in a way that he cant escape, which, short of interdimensional travel, or cryogenic freezing, is impossible due to his teleportation ability. this is coming from a fan of batman.... there are scenarios where batman could beat deadpool... but not on his own, and not by his own power and equipment alone. he would end up getting tired out by deadpool before he could ever tire deadpool out (heightened healing factor comes with a side effect of heightened metabolism.... high calorie diet needed to function, but poisons and the like dont stay in his system long enough to do anything.)
