haha yes! I have swithed them around (did that right after I uploaded the vid :D) Bot ways work as such (as long it is not in a real car) and that the tilt/height is sufficient

this is simply not true, GT1 PRO is FAR better value, GT omega PRIME is even better value price of this rig with all the additional things he added is 785€ which is not good value when compared to gtomega PRIME what they do is sell you rig that you think is good value but then get you with all the additional things you are inevitably going to buy you are better off buying more expensive rig at the start why I wrote all this? Becasue this is not stock GT1 EVO rig and therefor it's a bit misleading stock - 450€ in the video - 785€ approx.

thank you, glad you like it. Just want to point out the seat brackets, I did mount the opposite on how the brackets usually sit. For me it did not make much difference. Usually the side with the three holes face rearwards and the side that has 4-5 holes/slots is to face forward, this will give more flexibility with regards to how you can tilt the seat itself

I just got this rig from and the m8 slot nut doesn't fit snugly into the two 1350mm pieces like it does in all the other pieces - it's kind of loose and can move side to side a bit. Is that right? The shape and size of the rails between the 1350mm and other pieces are clearly different.

sorry for the delay in my answer. as long as you find a seat that fits in between the profiles with the seat mount you should be fine. I am not sure resellers you have in the US for seats, but you can have a look at sellers selling e.g. buckets seats for regular cars and it should not be an issue. I am running a Sparco seat in mine.

Hello, Mazman, don't know if someone already mentioned this but the seat brackets are installed the wrong way around. That's probable why they are not in line with the profile.

thanks for the input will have a look again. But the geometry appeared to be the same irrespective of the orientation. With that said it makes more sense to have more adjustments in the front if needed in that case the side with the longer slots should be in the front

I have not tried it out yet so I cannot comment on that. However there is no flex as such between the wheel and wheelbase in the QR

No there isn’t. I have a DD2 that I run on high torque settings. I had it mounted to a GT1 Evo and now a P1X. I used the SimLab Podium mount on both chassis and theres zero flex.

@@vrax23 Size. I honestly didn’t think I’d need anything bigger then the GT1 EVO but I ran out of space with all my hardware. Plus I had plans to add more. You can check out what my GT1 EVO looked like before I switched to the P1X if you watch the last video I uploaded.

Thank you! I am 167cm and have no issues. Having a slider for the seat and pedals will get you sorted out easily. However sliders won't be needed as such but will make a bit more easy specially if different persons will use the rig.

i bought the Fanatec Podium Racing Wheel F1 with the V3 clubesport pedals. I am thinking about buying this rig, my question is: which acessories do i need in order to assemble everything?

I would highly recommend the side mount from sim-lab to go with the DD1 base for thr GT1-evo For the pedals I don't think you would need anything specific as the holes on the pedal base plate should be prepared. Best is to have a check in sim-labs site on the compatibility with the pedals.

Sorry for the late reply! For the seat you would need to have seat brackets. If you want to adjust the seat a seat slider is good to have both are available on sim-labs site For tools I would suggest a square, tape measure and hex keys/wrenches if you don't already have that.

You can adjust the seat however you have to unbolt it from the frame and move and the re-tighten without a seat slider. I am not sure of the sim-lab seat but my guess is that it will work with the Sparco seat slider.

@@DrivewithTony the GT1 is very good! If going for motion the P1X is better suited due to the profile design but for none motion the GT1 is sufficient as such in my opinion. Hey man, love the rig! I’m looking at the Sparco Evo (not the L) and as I can’t try the seat out locally, I’m gathering as much information as I can. Are you able to tell me your height, shoulder width and waist size? I’m roughly 5ft 9in tall, waist size of 32” in pants and my shoulder width is 46cm, just wanted to check if I should get the regular Evo or the Evo L Sorry to comment here, I couldn’t find another way of contacting you. Hur känns pedalerna när de är monterade så? Haft logitech tidigare och gillade aldrig den känslan, sen fick jag testa en kompis rig med inverterade pedaler och vilket skillnad! Så när det är dax för min rig behöver jag ha en idé om hur jag kan invertera Fanatec pedaler

ledsen för sent svar! Det finns en hel del utrymme för få lutning på pedalerna, ena är genom pedelarna själva samt även att plattan går att höjen hel del i bakkant om man nu så vill. Har tyvärr inte testat med inverterat men det borde vara mest likt en vanlig bil

I had a bucket seat, found it uncomfortable for endurance races. I switched to the GT Omega XL RS seat, find it extremely comfortable. I use a GT1 Evo cockpit.

From what I have experienced there is no flex which I can fell. If I would record and playback in slowmow most likely some flex can be seen, but when driving I do not feel anything.

In my opinion it fits my body well and it is comfortable. However with that said I usually do 1 to 1 1/2 hours in one go. Don't drive longer than that.
