This song really defines what was going on with both Bonnie and Marcy at the start of the show, they never fixed their problems, they were broken up and it stayed like that for thousands of years, when they finally reach to be together again and how it was implied since early in the series makes them a very enjoyable couple, and Obsidian from Distant lands focusing only on them and their relationship is just perfect.
