I don't think he realizes, that because the baton kills due to fixed percentage chance it scales infinitely. Doesn't matter how much health or how bullet spongey they are, they die due to the same % chance.

I like the baton, but yes the rng function of the one shots can be absolutely amazing and also equally terrible. But to be fair to the design, if you have turrets it doesn't matter if you dont get a 1 shot proc as the robots will murder anyone you dont get a proc on

Once you get concrete, don't forget to fix the support walls under your base. They can't reach you but the can destroy the walls holding up your away base room.

an aside... you should cheat in a coffee maker to put under your coffee logo and that is where you store your coffees. One for dark roast(blackstrap) and one for regular. Quality of life is as important as asthetics. I keep my clean water in a water dispenser and coffees in a coffee maker... makes my kitchen homier.

haha I do this too. when I ran a server & community base, it was just easy to tell people to look where you’d really expect stuff. Canned stuff in cupboards, water in the dispenser and cooked stuff in the fridge/stove. Even had one of those refrigerated drink holders that you put in the walls with the beers :)

Apparently Zs don't see the vehicles, I wonder if that could be abused in an AFK base, having them go up a ramp and bumping in a 4X4 while you are hiding behind solid "no cop see" corner far enough so they don't swing at the car while the Zs push themselves of the ramp in around and round run till morning.

Josh - Not sure if your looking for more material for series but I have some anyway :) Nothing like unsolicited advice to get someone listening :) Combining a couple of concepts. No repair was awesome. Combined with a looting only based series like Wasteland would encourage exploration of POIs. Death consequences could then still be toolbar lost as it will be wearing out anyways. Whatever restrictions you place upon your self seem to be mitigated by your skill in a very short period of time. With your skill you could do your ever evolving difficulty & combine it with ever increasing horde days. Start at 7 then drop down each time, 7 6 5 4 3 2 1, until it's horde every night in the wasteland with ever diminishing resources. I am sure others have wonderful ideas & you keep being you. Yeah, I like the idea of having consequences for death rather than ending the series. The series ending abruptly can be very annoying, once before I unsubscribed and didn't watch for a long time because I was so annoyed (think it may have been clock tower?).

never rly flew bc I normally hate helicopter mechanics in games (looking at you, GTA) but the 7 days gyro isn’t toooo bad. Anyway, made my first a little bit ago & I always wondered how woodle was so good at flying, bc I’m still a mess on take off and landing. nevermind that now, the past two videos have shown me I’m not alone, from pressing E to getting hung up on street lights.

The animal challenges are annoying, I've killed all the rabbits, chickens, wolves, bears, and I'm about 80% through the others. When it comes to the zombies, I only have to kill Demolishers (only 6 so far, they're not coming on horde nights, Day 52). It would be nice if there was a second tier of radiated versions and zombie wolves, bears and dogs to kill, as I'm just searching them out to kill them.

Josh, I don't understand why you are so rattled about the baton and the Wasteland. Throughout the combat, your health barely dipped below 150-160 HP. It doesn't get much better in the Wasteland unless you are running around in God Mode.

The baton has gotten you out of a lot of sticky spots. No single weapon would have kept you going. You would have had to resort to guns with any other melee weapon to survive. And yes you handled you baton like a gentleman at the stripper club... :P Baton works best at the top of a 1 wide stairs. This optimizes the knockback and head hits. Put the electric fence at the top and even an iron hatch is good enough to stop most.
