I can't help but laugh. I remember back in the Forest when Dora wouldn't fight the savages. Now it's reversed and it's Neebs not fighting. Love these series.

If I recall, in the early game, the monkey's aggression scales with how agressive you are towards them... plus other things like deforestation and caves explored/gamestage. Beating them up as soon as you see the monkies is a sure fire way to get alot of agression! :) (It's cool to learn, through this episode, that it appears to also be player & not group dependant! lol)

At 11:26, from my own long, gameplay experience the muddy people will slowly stalk you, might throw rocks or take a jab at you if they're brave enough, but they're usually pretty passive unless provoked or already fearful enough. So Neebs in that moment was playing pretty smart and I believe for the rest of this his attitude will keep him pretty safe hopefully at least until late game, since the cannibals react more aggressively the worse you treat them.

I discovered neebs gaming while looking for tip videos on the first forest. Ended up watching a supercut. I could easily watch that supercut every week and not get bored. Been on so many highs and tearful lows since that day with this channel
