I'm the older woman, teaching twiriling to students after about 40 years of not twirling. Thanks for all the help you have given me. I must say, you look much cuter than I do at 60 trying to teach this, but I have you to show them as an example of how it looks, and I have the basics. Your help has helped me make a living this summer, some 2 yrs away from social security. Thanks Cassie.

You are a genuinely good teacher! Thank you. I came across a baton about a year ago and I began teaching myself to twirl. I decided to look up some videos and you by far are the best teacher. I desperately need a new baton. Do you have any suggestions on where to buy one?
@sandyfam71393 жыл бұрын
Hi! I suggest buying a baton from starline baton co. I got the starlet baton but they do have others.
@sandyfam71393 жыл бұрын
I got my first baton from there and ive been buying from that company ever since!

Cassie...where did you go? You were the first to hit on all the things I remember learning years ago and the very first to point out the details like that darn sloppy hand...keep the hand pretty! Lol sure could use more videos :)

Very informative video. But there hasn't been a new video with Cassie twirling since April 2011 - that's 3 years ago. What happened, did she stop twirling or making videos?. Does Cassie have a FB page with a tutorial? We all would really like for her to continue making the videos, she seems very professional and knowledgeable.

Omg! Wow cassie ignore these haters. I have been a majorette for 3 years with 2 of my closest friends. We aren't great, but we sure do love what we do. :) id like to see some advanced moves, like good things for 8 or 16 counts in a routine.we do halftime shows in our podunk little town and love choreographing. Thank you for your help, but you might wanna lose the uniform. We were told not to practice in our uniforms because it stretches the fabric pulling it on and off and it doesn't look as cri

I'm 13 and I enjoy it and I'm not a mrs. Know it all who thinks I can be a snob! Yea I screw up sometimes but that's the part of learning!!

How long is your baton? Because I am looking to get one and I don't know what size to get
@buckeyechance10977 жыл бұрын
kyky283 I know I'm late but it should be one inch more than your arm measured from your arm pit
@levicaneda72346 жыл бұрын
kyky283 if you get too long it will hit your arms if you get too short its not comfortable

You sound just like me! I started back in January 2012 and since then I have gotten up to a two spin. I will be competing with my group's Junior twirling corp. There are a few of those... snobbish girls on there. They are annoying aren't they?!?!?! Haha and I will be turning 13 in 2 weeks :P

I am sorry but you messed up ALL the names of the twirling moves.It is chocolate and vanilla,a two hand pass,and a pin wheel is really a windmill. If you think you can do these I hope that you can fix the names!!!

It shouldn’t be exactly the same size of your arm, it has to be approximately be a inch or two away.

if you hold 5 world titles, why aren't you making how to videos? I think the worst twirlers are the ones who are too snobby to help pass on the art..just saying..
@lenielanc13 жыл бұрын
I am a twirler of 34 yrs, hold 5 world titles. Im sorry you are not seasoned enough to be providing how to videos: I am not being mean... you have the incorrect names for tricks and holdings, you always hold tip down (the small end the big end is the ball).you twirl with the "web" of your hand your feet should be in 3rd position at standing, watch arm and sholders not just free hand. make a full foot point not just your toes. Do not wear a uniform to teach in you will not be taken serious
@alishadick49012 жыл бұрын
If you want to make videos ...Try to show the tricks at full speed to catch your audience. You do not seem to be at a level to do videos yet. You should not pass the figure 8s. Too many figure 8s. They should be minimal unless you are 5. There are so many more age appropriate tricks if you are trying for teenagers.
@Stephaamee3 ай бұрын
People can start at teenagers too. This might be helpful for many beginners
