I knew even then that the party was too Quebec centric to ever be a party for all Canadians at the tender age of 10 years old, and have been proven correct on that view ever since. That one so called province which has never shown that they are a part of Canada in my lifetime has proven to be the spoiled child of confederation ever since the sixties, and especially since the "October Crisis" of 1971 and the FLQ along with the first separation referendum following election of the Parti Quebecois a couple years later. That one province so much as whimpers about being ignored by the federal government and that government is right there to give them everything plus more that they whine for, meanwhile the rest of the provinces can be screaming blue bloody murder and get totally ignored by the feds of both the lieberal and the old PC party in the eighties. Time for the province of Quebec must lose their privileged position in confederation and in the federal government and be forced to live as equals with the rest of Canada, or be kicked out with no more than what they had prior to confederation which means just that narrow strip of land along the St Lawrence River with the remainder of the provincial land they've claimed since then remaining as Canadian territory for the FN and the english residents of Quebec and the Francophones losing all rights as Canadian citizens and all of our national investment in that one area no Canadian dollar, nor Canadian Forces membership form their own currency and military. Either that or the west will leave and they'll still lose the equalization transfers from us which they've been the biggest recipients of those funds to the tune of nearly $13billion per year since the seventies when the first TurdDough created that funding for the so called have not provinces.

Worst thing is how pervasive and inflationary the carbon tax is. It's not just what you put in your car or use to heat your house. Everything from a sheet of plywood to a bag of apples has to be moved, produced or processed using gas or diesel, and is taxed, often many times over. It even affects property taxes! Road and sewer repairs, new construction, snow clearing, etc... it's all done with heavy equipment running on diesel. And so, up go property taxes too!

Beer is going to go up more than 2%. It’s going up 2% + the Carbon Tax increase. That’s why Freeland reduced the Beer tax trying to look good. Wait rill you see the new price for Beer with these two combined tax increases. Trudeau will get to take another holiday on tax payers for sure !
