In response to my last complaint to them, the producer actually said that their "report" was a "valid narrative". I replied that their job was supposed to be facts, not "narratives". No response to that.

This is not a recent thing. CBC has been bleeding viewership for decades, beginning in the mid 80's, that by the 20th century their viewership was miniscule. The only program that every brought in a majority of viewers was Hockey Night In Canada, which they have lost.

However, in sticking to the point of THIS particular story , really it does not matter what side of the fence you are on, the fact that the CBC employs a covert committee to intentionally skew the news in favour of any side is just plain wrong. This is what is being discussed here. A publically funded (to the tune of billions every year) Canadian media outlet is secretly picking and choosing stories, changing others, all to favour one side of the war is just plain disgusting, wrong and unethical.
