The best way for the first row of tiles is to put your fascia and soffit on first…the fascia should be 50mm above the roof rafters so it lifts the tile up at the end 👍🏼

why didnt you cross baton to ensure undertile venting?

Darren can I ask why you did cuts on the batton at the bottom off the velux wouldn’t it be better to not have to many weak points when you could off put a longer length in with no weak po8mts at 5he bottom Great work to ye all 👍👍

Hi there is a double joist running below the rafter so the top and bottom of the window will get its support from those. That batten really just rises the level to meet the others if that makes sense
