Until Bender's Big Score was released, this game was officially considered the canon 73rd episode of the series by the show's production team and the canon ending of the series. After season 5 released, the cutscenes from the game as well (as well as some unfinished ones that were completed and finalised) were included in the DVD of Beast with a Billion Backs as a bonus "episode". Edit: oops, you covered that 😅

When i learned that this was a lost episode i thought it was a joke and nope...it actually is, funny how that worked before the return with Bender's Big Score (and yes i'm aware of the DVD that has the cutscenes as a bonus episode. I really need to play this game someday although it doesn't look all that fun in some aspects i have a feeling that I will love it still...also is sad that this never got a Gamecube release...i would've played it without a doubt when i was a kid since part of my family and i were fans of Futurama (yeah i was more of a Nintendo kid but still got to play PS and other consoles thanks to my brother and cousins). A new Futurama game would be a good thing now with the Hulu revival that happened...before it dies and revive for the millionth time. Great vid Jordan!

I was lucky enough to still have a classic xbox when growing up, and this was one of the many games my dad owned for it! I was so surprised back when I found out that it wasn't very well known. Always had lots of fun playing, but the controls WERE super difficult- I just always thought I was really bad though lol. I'd love to see a remaster, or even a new game!

I remember renting this game as a kid back when Hollywood Videos still existed. I used to have a love hate relationship for the game, got stuck midway through the game (if I recall, I was soft locked in a really stupid spot) got angry and gave up 😂 still a great game nonetheless ❤

Great video. I wasn't aware of this Futurama game. It at least looks more fun than the Family Guy game i played back in the day. That was both unfun to play and wasn't very funny.

I've got a copy of this game for the OG XBox. I bought it used from GameStop for $5, so even though 5 minutes in I hated it because of the controls I wasn't about to take it back, but I've never finished the game, nor played more than 5 minutes of it, and now that my XBox is dead I probably never will unless I can figure out how to rip the disc without using the XBox itself. I would love to see a modern take on a Futurama game because I love/d the show. (Is it still running somewhere, because it's not available on any service I subscribe to.)

This game is valuable and really good for an established IP game. I also feel it graphically blows the Family Guy game out of the water which you just covered which was a whole console generation later.
