+Max Shaw ASC T-128's are my favorite sirens. My town has 2 2001 Federal siren. Unfortunately due to where they're placed half the town's residents can't hear either of them. I've begged the major to put on up by the fairgrounds to no avail.

@Haitham Aldosari The batteries discharged wide voltages because of the explosion, forcing the siren to use the left over battery storage before the explosion to try and activate, but soon chirped because that quickly uses the leftover voltage. Theres your explanation.

Breaker snapped off most likely I work with tornado sirens so it’s either that or a surge of too much electricity from the batteries. In order for a siren to start up it has two zones of electricity steadiness. Zone one is wind up and low tone. Zone two takes about 70 percent more power than zone one so in order for the zones to change their is a tenth of a second brake in between the zone to go from one or the other. But chopper sirens have one zone because it is not a speaker. So with speaker sirens the reason their is two zones is not only for high low tone but low and high speaker drivers are completely set up different. That is how tornado sirens work

cyclone4311 Nah. That was one of the batteries letting out a big one. Some of the sites in the city have rather old batteries. They'll fill with hydrogen over time and one spark gives you a nasty bang. the smoke was coming from the battery compartment vents.

I own a modulator with 3 disks and I put it on a pole but one time the battery blew up but I did have a back up power on my control box to charge it and it runs at the Same voltage as the batter puts out and it would work If i put the battery charger onto the term the battery connections and the siren works

It's probably for the benefit of any living beings nearby the cemetery. Sometimes, living beings visit grave sites of the deceased, so they would be warned by the siren, too. Furthermore, it looks like the siren is across the road from the cemetery, so the cemetery being in proximity of a siren is simply coincidence. Finally, who's to say that Whelen doesn't make a siren that could wake the dead ? Maybe that's why the guy with the video camera was really there.
