I have an existing solar system, grid tie, net metering, with a lithium battery bank. I would like to add an i2000 or heli 2.0 to it. Is that possible and if so how would I do it? we have plenty of wind, I live in the middle of a wind farm. Thanks for all the info you share.

Love these updates, If you do rebuild the whole thing, "industrial" grey paint on the backboard, brush up and a battery scub would make this look 10x better. As for improvements, It might be worth looking at power mosfets as these wouldn't ARC or burnup with high current DC loads. Lookup the IXFN200N10P it might not be the ideal part but it's the type I had in mind. You'd probably have to look into it a bit deeper. I think they might shed a small amount of heat also but not sure if that's only with pwm. Or you could look into "High Voltage DC Contactor Relays" but they might be expensive if you need to buy multiple. Been a long time lurker on the channel but I love following projects like this, keep it up.

Had to move the turbine to a less than ideal location because of noise complaints. Cant wait to move house in a couple of years and get rid of any and all neighbours haha.

Do you have fuses? I have a fuse on the input, battery and load out for my controller to be safe. I only have solar, thinking of how to add a turbine to to charge the same battery without damaging anything. See a problem connecting a solar and a wind turbine controller to a single 12V 200AH AGM battery? If the voltage gets too high both should stop charging.

Hello. Has anyone tested the resistance in ohms of the ista breeze? I have the i-1500 48V and I have looked at the three phases of the wind turbine, and each phase only gives me 1 ohm of resistance. I think it's very little. The wind turbine generates almost nothing and is new

Yep I agree, in the UK LIFePO4 now actually cheeper than lead acid and not quite so explosive 😂😂😂 Sodium Ion Cells are hitting the market on AliBaba so I hope the LIFePO4 prices crash.
