Its based on diode voltage drop - its absolutely basics. Typical voltage drop for diode is 0.6 V, so it means tajt if connect 12V at the "start" of circuit, then voltage after firs will be 11,2, nafter next 10,8 etc.

Until it can no longer forward any voltage to power the led So the higher the voltage the more led it can power through the diode

About soldering scene: typical led light properly at 20mA current. According to Ohm's law - 100k resistor, 20mA, voltage should be at least 20000V. Power released on resistor would be about 4kW! In final scene, circiut contains proper resistors - 100Ohm.

I was thinking about the same however did not see different resistors used at the end :) . I made calculations and it did not work (in theory) at all :) .

@@delta110a many modern leds give out useful light as much less than 1 ma, especially white ones or others that use a phosphor for the colour instead of directly generated by the diode chip

Does this totally work on diode resistance? I mean the diode drops voltage and the final bulb gets less voltage?

100k? It's too high for the LED... it should between 100 to 470 ohms only because the voltage maximum applied to test battery is 4.2 v only....

@@Dave_en First piace of movie shows soldering 100k resistor. Circuit contains 100Ohm resistors.

@@janekspodmarkuszowa5970 Thats wrong because 100k resistor hardly allows any current to flow through LED to make it visibly glow, that too with 4V supply. Anything between 100 to 1000 ohm will work. LEDs require anywhere between 1-20mA current to glow.

@@Dave_en Yes - youre absoletuly right, but scene with soldering shows 100k resistor - that wont work. Circuit - 100Ohms - that works.

just search soldering tool or soldering machine,ask it or show this to your nearest local electronics shop,he will tell you as well as give you the options as well as instruct you how to use and also give the desoldering chemical which melts and desolders

Yes. If your power supply is upto 5 volts you can use 100 ohms or more. If 12 volts then use 1K.

@@shaheen06 use 560 ohms or higher resistance for 12 volts battery pack. If 5v then 100 ohms is recommended. I would suggest using 1K ohms for more durability of the circuit.

Wrong discription , for 12v or 24volt ?? Basically it needs a resistor at the place of diode , resistor value should be 4.7k for 24v & need a 15v zener diode in series of + input of circuit. Clap for me & slap for haahaahaaa lol 😂 Don’t mind change video please & dont waste time for video circuit 😮
