Hi. I just acquired a 2000 EV Ranger and will soon start the process of dropping the battery pack and replacing the NiMH batteries. Did you get your working??? What batteries do you currently have in the pack?

Unfortunately I sold both of my Rangers... Simply not enough time or space to work on them, and I decided I'd rather spend my money on other projects.

Sorry if I missed it, but I take it a previous owner converted it to lithium? The only two factory versions were lead acid and then nimh, correct?

dpappyp1 yep, that’s correct! Not sure if I mentioned that in this particular video or not... But I did in my “introductory” video about this truck. The previous owner converted it to LiFePO4 about 5-6 years ago, and it was parked shortly afterwards...

What are the interior dimensions of your pack? I'm trying to see what batteries will fit inside.

bucolucas well, as you can see, it’s not a very rectangular pack, so the dimensions are pretty complex. If you want to get in touch I can give you a dimensional drawing. Shoot me a PM on my instagram and I’ll give you my email. My IG is username is ajbessinger. To give you a rough idea though, I do know that there is a guy that managed to cram in 14 Tesla modules... He’s got that documented over on openinverter.org.

Adam Wright not yet! Still working on getting ahold of some new batteries. Hopefully I will get something figured out soon...
