For those with a cross over in hobbies, LiPo batteries work great for direct DC battery packs. Look into 3000-4000 6S LiPo packs, well priced for those already with a charger etc

I added up my suitcase of sequencer, synth and fx to 5Amps /1,200 Watts. Anker Portable Power 521 would last less than 20 minutes. I'm likely miscalculating but I won't spend £300 on that power bank.

At first I thought you were Alan Resnick, and I was just like, 'oh no....' Thanks for the tips, I'm a little bit closer to being a roving eurorack performer

I am currently ramping up my setup outdoors. It has a Volca Drum and volca modular and a Bastl Kastle to start. Hoping to power my full 15u 104hp suitcase and an MPC1000 for an outdoor setup.

Yay! I'm much less timid about plugging my system into a solar battery now. Thank you :)

Can you over supply watts? Like if I only need 90w for my PSU, and I get a 150W power bank... is that bad?
@pyrofiliac2 жыл бұрын
nope, the more watt hours on your battery the better. the psu will last longer the more watt hours you have

Cool idea, glad to see you making new vids! Really enjoyed all the modular on the roof series. Would be curious to see some content on bikes next :)
