There must be a glitch on KZbin, how the hell this video only has 1K views and the channel less than 1K subs? Keep them coming!!

This is so rad! I love the idea, the patch, all of it. The music theory section is terrific too! You did an amazing job breaking this all down into something very approachable and informative. Thank you! :D

Loved the performance breakdown. Really love the way the chords scoop from one to the next and that set against the hard edged lead. So good! The vibrato control was a nice touch. Bravo sir!!!

Thanks for taking the time to explain all this. You got across a ton of information in just 10 minutes. Loved the original video and song. It's really cool to get some tips on how you did it. A lot of soak in.

Hi, really inspiring video! Can I ask how you managed to change the chords on the Sinfonion? I tried feeding it CV after assigning “Chord Voicing” to CV1. Did you do it in a different way? In your video it seems like the Chord is actually shown in the Singonion display. Or is this just editing? 😂

Love it once again thanks. Question for Hermod, with one of the four (a,b,c,d) inputs. I haven’t looked at the CC data index yet but could we just macro all tracks key to one knob and make the key change? In the midi channels with the scale function on.
@zachstarr25434 жыл бұрын
I found it, was just in the next menu under scales. So an control knob to multiplier to 4 inputs will give 4 voice control for key change
@SecondBreakfastMusic4 жыл бұрын
Since Sinfonion is handling all my quantization I don’t use any quantization with Hermod. However that’s a good solution for key changes. The limitation is that you’re locked into the diatonic scale with no room for borrowed chords from outside the scale. However it’s certainly better than nothing.

@@SecondBreakfastMusic almost have to use pressure points into attenuator to avoid just scrolling up and down in key. But yes I am locked, I can transpose and change root note too but man I guess I am just trying to outsmart the sinfonion or until one falls into my lap.

Also how did you get 4 Bricks Rook to take over the drums from the Metron only when you pressed those buttons but then go back to playing the normal sequenced beat when you stopped?
@SecondBreakfastMusic3 жыл бұрын
I combine the triggers from Metron and 4BR using OR logic. I explain it starting at 5:45. Good luck!

Yo which module is that one in the background with the green arrow? The one just to the left of your 2nd Sinfonion

It’s an Alyseum Matrix II

What does it mean that Sinfonian quantizes the Hermod? Are you not sending notes out of it?
@SecondBreakfastMusic3 жыл бұрын
You kinda just need to read the manual of how Sinfonion works. It’s the most powerful quantizer in euro. Very musical.
@deladonics3 жыл бұрын
@@SecondBreakfastMusic I was more asking about what the hermod was doing. I have the Hermod but not the sinfonian
@SecondBreakfastMusic3 жыл бұрын
@@deladonics I have a midi keyboard hooked up to Hermod that I use to play in all melodic parts. Hermod records those parts. Then some of the channels of Hermod are used for sending out modulation. I now use a second Hermod as well for recording all my drum parts and additional modulation. Also some of the modulation from Hermod is used for practical things like switching routing of the signals to different modules and also for my live shows Hermod is sending midi out that is being converted into dmx signals to control lighting.
