117 is a great consumption for 90 km/h gps in this class, Bjørn Nyland only got 137 wh/km with 20".

This is more interesting to me as any motorway driving I do is normally around 60mph due to traffic, speed restrictions plus my usual commute is on mixed roads and slower more efficient speeds.

It VW's decision to use pure, pro...etc to differ trims. Previously, they were something like trendline, comfortline, highline, flagship... etc. Audi use yet another set of words, like prestige, advanced, s-line

Question for id.7 owners - my ambient lighting seems to switch off in the day time - is there a way to force it to stay on in the day? Thanks!

My first response is it should be able to... after all the Skoda IV80 does it on the same battery size (ruddy boring for both driver and passengers though XD In fact at 23C you should be able to squeeze 500 miles/ 800km with very careful driving at 90 kph.

If you analyze test data on the flat compared to test data with a small climb than surely you would have a figure you can correct for the small climbs in the future.

Do you know if an ID7 can be charged using just 2 phase current? I know 2 phase is not that popular, but let's say you have 3 phase and for some reason one phase is down. Will car still charge missing one phase?

What about real life conditions, how long would one full charge last with a family of 4 in the car, plus luggage for one week? How far could the car go on one charge if bicycles are mounted behind or on the top? And during the test please turn on AC or Heating, and please test it at 130 km/h. These would be real life conditions for such a large car.

This is a stupid test, because when you drive on autobahn, you drive with 130/h. No for me.
@Zedus-rl9hpАй бұрын
it's not stupid, because at 90 km/h you have about the same consumption as you would have in an urban environment and on country roads. Or several city motorways and motorway during rush hours are usually limited to 80-100 km/h, which affects a lot of commuters
@alinsimion3630Ай бұрын
@@Zedus-rl9hp so no real life test. We cant say the all autobahn are restricted or other motivs. When i go on autobahn, i allways see evs at 90-100km/h. That is not for me.
@Zedus-rl9hpАй бұрын
@@alinsimion3630 There are various tests, but you have to do the "real life test" yourself on your routes anyway, as each one is different. And that's why this 90 km/h has been established, for the reasons mentioned above! "When i go on autobahn, i allways see evs at 90-100km/h." yes, because you want to see that and EVs at the same speed as you, you will never see, because you dont get closer to them 😉 And from my environment I can say that more EVs drive normally like ICE than the number that drive 90 - our company fleet also shows this clearly, so this is just your personal perception and not a fact
