This is the BattlBox Mission 47 Breakdown with CURRIN1776.

The S.T.A.T. Tourniquet is not an appropriate tourniquet. It's failed multiple test. The mechanism would break trying to hold the pressure and once broken you could not tighten anymore. Also, those that where the mechanism did not break the tourniquets failed to occlude arterial and venous flow via Doppler. Put it in your pack as a back up but keep a real tourniquet like the C.A.T or a SOF T in your pack and use that first. These tourniquets are proven and are recommended by the committee for TCCC. Also, whatever tourniquet you decide to use please train on its use so when the time comes you will know how to properly use it to possibly save a life.

I have to admit, at first I was a disappointed with the KOTM, but I have been playing with it for a couple of weeks and as someone who likes to fidget, this knife is now a favorite. Love the box(s) and look forward to them every month. I think I’d turn off internet/TV before sacrificing not getting this box. Thanks again!

First off the Ganzo is in the $29.00 box so really it’s unbelievable they were able to do it at all. Secondly a bunch of knife laws across the U.S. have been updated. Make sure you know the current law as many have eased up somewhat on stupid restrictions. Lastly If it’s illegal to carry or own in your area and you don’t want to risk it send it to me I’ll have 9 guys on my crew trying to steal mine so I’ll rehome it for you no charge. Looks like an awesome box to me! Now I’m excited to get mine. Great job Battlbox team! P.S. no up the kilt shots please the world is confused enough already.

You are so right about knowing knife laws. The legal blade limit here in Delaware is 3 freaking inches. I can't wait to move back home (Texas) where you can carry a sword. LOL

I always liked the idea of "themed" boxes but I think the idea of a theme box limits what gear they could've included in the box. There has been quite a few disappointing boxes in the last couple months but it sounds like battlbox has been listening to the consumers on this box and haven't really put in some half assed filler items in this box. I personally will use everything included in this box (for the first time since subscribing in march 2018) there's a lack of filler items and I hope they stay with this new platform. This is one of the most useful boxes I've seen since I've joined battlbox

This is the type of box I loved, I think moving away from themes was a good idea. The Welcome box (Mission 13 I think) was great. i still use the tent, tent stakes, stove and knife.

Disappointed:/ Not in the whole box. Mostly their choices in KOTM. Lately they just stink. This one is no exception. But then again, in my humble opinion, Battlbox kinda always stunk at picking folding blades. Some were cool but I would never carry any of them. Some like this one aren't even cool. Battlbox usually picks pretty well on fixed blades. Go back to those. TOPS/Ontario/ESEE type knives. Idk maybe I'm crazy this is just how I feel

Hi guys, happy to see you going away from the "theme" boxes. Everything was looking pretty good until the KOTM. Seriously, I would have no use for a knife that small. Sorry to say, I feel you missed the mark on the KOTM. But on the good side, I am seriously considering to re-start my subscription. Think I will wait and see what next month looks like. So keep up the good work but please give more consideration to your KOTM. A previous commentor hit it on the head, you seem to hit it out of the park with your fixed blades but your flippers seem to come up short. Thanks.

It's a flipper with most likely ceramic bearings under 3 inches, not auto. Therefore legal in mostly every state in the U.S. to conceal carry, especially under 2 oz. Great knife by a reputable Bastion! @battlbox

I still like the tinker bell knife, my smallest knife. I was little oofed on the thermos, as I just bought a bunch of stuff from RTIC, but still nice. I liked the box way better than other subscription boxes, I will re-up in the future.

Just got my box. Unhappy with it. The Bastion gear knife is to small for any use and it doesn’t even lock open. Not sure if it’s just this knife or they’re all like that. Find it hard to believe that it’s a $292.71 value. Only thing I kept was the backpacksers pantry and two way radios (hope they’re as good as they say). Sry to say this will be my last box. I will still watch the videos though.

Great box. I wouldn't mind 1-2 themed box per year, assuming the sun, moon, and stars aligned such that a well constructed box is possible. However, themed boxes are just not sustainable (you made a wise decision to go with "bunch-of-cool-stuff" boxes).
