That is a cutting axe, not a splitting axe.. It is to narrow a blade for splitting.

I like the axe, axe bag and the L&F knife are great in fact the whole box was on point. I can think back to some of the boxes with 90% utter none-sense and this is a PERFECT example of a company listening to feedback and making positive changes. Way to go BattleBox

Don’t cut the excess paracord off. If you wind up in a bind in the Bush you can use all of that paracord to tie that blade to a stick to make a Bush hatchet. I’ve had one of those for about 5-6 years and they are awesome.

Kuksa is a style of cup, originates from Scandinavia. A lot of them I've seen are about half the size, so it seems that you got one that's actually useful (as in, could be used as a regular cup).

It is made for tree felling and debranching. It may split old dry logs, maybe. Look at the thickness of a splitting axe. It has a wedge shape behind the blade. For that matter, you can split logs wit a sledge hammer and a wedge. The wedge does the splitting. A chopping axe is much more narrow so the blade doesn't get stuck in the cut.

My axe was in rough shape. Needs a lot of work. The handle needs to be sanded down. And the axe head is rusty and there are sharp pieces of metal sticking out of the resin. The sheath I used for my machete. That is nice. The knife is cool too, although tedious to take the scales off.

The noun “grounds” in its coffee sense refers to the gunk left over after making a pot of java. The noun “grinds” refers to the different degrees of ground coffee; for example, there are fine, medium, and coarse “grinds.”

That axe is not really designed for splitting. It is kind of an all purpose axe, so you will find it...fair for splitting, but it is not wide enough to be a great splitter. Yes that is the type of cup that it is, not a brand...well I guess it could ALSO be a brand. That tool knife thing is suppose to be a survival knife. You use it as an awkward knife, but can also lash it to a branch and make a small hatchet out of it. I have tried it before. It is...meh, okay. Sure beats not having a blade though.
