I use the neck light and the gas mask in my attic when I installed security cameras on n my house, my attic has blown in insulation and I will never go in the Attic again without them.

Well Done BaddleBox HVAC Contractors with you PD100 full face respirator, but a Test Question Exists??? Because for the last 30 years California Commercial HVAC Contractors have been using the 3M 6800 (OSHA Asbestos Abatement Approved) full face respirator mask. However, for long Commercial Days the 3M 6800 will fog up your prescription eye glasses. So can someone please review prescription eye glasses fogging with the PD100 FF Resp mask? 4 an "A Ye Haw Engineering Review".

Regarding the mask, .3 micron is the same as 300 nanometers, and is the same level of filtration as a N95 mask. For reference, the CV virus particle under an electron microscope, is 70-90 nanometers. This will not stop a virus.

N95 masks are designed to remove more than 95% of all particles that are at least 0.3 microns (µm) in diameter. In fact, measurements of the particle filtration efficiency of N95 masks show that they are capable of filtering ≈99.8% of particles with a diameter of ≈0.1 μm (Rengasamy et al., 2017). SARS-CoV-2 is an enveloped virus ≈0.1 μm in diameter, so N95 masks are capable of filtering most free virions, but they do more than that. How so? Viruses are often transmitted through respiratory droplets produced by coughing and sneezing. Respiratory droplets are usually divided into two size bins, large droplets (>5 μm in diameter) that fall rapidly to the ground and are thus transmitted only over short distances, and small droplets (≤5 μm in diameter). Small droplets can evaporate into 'droplet nuclei', remain suspended in air for significant periods of time and could be inhaled.

Gas Filter Cartridges are a multi layer Passage Canister; so, even though the .3 micron particulate measurement is the same gas canister respirator rating is in another Vapor Rating above an N97 cloth mask. @A Luquasto the Higher Protection is always going to be the Gas & Vapor Multi Passage Layer Canisters. But eye transmission for the public must be CDC minimal. Otherwise full face lab Profesional Level Eye Protection Masks would would be the public norm. So it all depends on your level of Hazardous Material Exposure.

FYI... covid particulate size ranges from 50 to 140 nm. The largest, 140nm is equal to 0.14 microns...less than half the size of that filter's capability of 0.3 microns. So, don't waste your filters for "covid". The only mask that will stop covid is a plastic bag, and there's not a 99% chance you'll survive a plastic bag.
