Battle! AI Sada / Turo (Delusional Paradise Dual Mix)

I've turned 20 today, it's a strange feeling. It's funny how I never did a fully dedicated (serious) Pokémon video like this despite the series meaning a lot to me, with Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Time being my first video game ever. It feels right to have this today, the 20th anniversary of me being alive & Pokémon Day. It's funny the first thing I knew before even thinking about getting S/V was the ending fight, I went in blind when it came to most things in-between. Sw/Sh was an okay experience but after that I didn't touch it's DLC & I was just burnt out Pokémon wise so getting S/V on release wasn't a thought. I grew up with Gen 4, I was able to get back at Gen 7 before the worst years of my life, & now Gen 9 also holds a special place in my heart. This game was a technical mess, it's lows are just ugh. Even so, when it was able to soar, I genuinely enjoyed the all highs it had. DLC was also good but I'll save those thoughts for another time. Visuals for this vid were just done in a day, nothing too fancy or synced other than some parts. Wish I didn't cut out some dialog & cutscenes but I can't really help it with only 6 minutes & 21 seconds to work with. The 30 second screen recorder on the Switch was a bit of hassle as I wanted my first run to be recorded so if I missed some parts then there was no way for me to get it back. This is why you don't see Chara get hit by sludge wave in the video. Voxx's part was cut really fast specifically due to him being a Dudunspace which just makes the camera go under the floor & I rather have that rushed pacing than that camera clipping ruin the mood. The recording for Hyperdrive's (my Miraidon) transformation into battle form didn't save the beginning part of it so I kinda had to make a bit of a weird cut there, but I think I made the flow kinda work. Hardest part of this was honestly the ending of the video not gonna lie. Music was probably the simplest thing in the video, some of Vetrom other remixes don't follow the whole track one to one but here, the two just fit quite nicely together, with the remix ending the whole thing. Just made Vetrom's Remix at 75% Volume while the OG Track at 100% so one doesn't overpower the other. For most thumbnails for music stuff like this I usually look for good art to use, here though I couldn't really find anything I could use for AI Turo...most Turo art I found was just too simple, not what I was looking for, or...horny. I just used a screencap of the moment before you defeat the Paradise Protection Protocol. I cropped it, did sone small edits, then boom. I'm honestly happy with how well it turned out. The AI Professor is just a really cool character & I definitely won't be able to do them justice with my words. The idea they are able to see past the original professor's dreams & see the danger it's causing but physically can't take direct action against it is just interesting. We don't fight against the AI Sada or Turo here, we are fighting the embodiment of someone's delusional dreams from beyond the grave. The Paradise Protection Protocol is basically just a stand in for the original professor. "AI Turo has no intention of fighting any more!" Thanks for reading all the way though, I know my ramblings can long. I legit could say way more but I don't think anyone wants to be kept here for too long. Happy Pokémon day, hopefully they won't announce anything (OBJECTIVELY) disappointing, honestly fine with waiting for a fully cooked game rather than anything rushed, there are definitely people in development that care about making their game good but couldn't. SV was a mess yes but a mess that I was happy to be a part of and it’s one of my favorites of the entire series despite its issues, the positives are too good to let the bad influence my view on them lmao

Fun fact about Pokémon Day & my birthday, I only found out those two were on same day when they first announced Sw/Sh, don't know how I avoided that knowledge for so long lmoa. SV is basically a beloved mess that shines through...when it can. You can tell there are people who definitely care about making the game the best it could be in the development team but uh fail given the rush job we got. Despite the problems, there's definitely heart & soul put into them. Not gonna defend the bad, I just complain about the problems out of concern & enjoy what I do like.
