Battle Arena Toshinden 2 is a weapon based 3D fighting game developed by Tamsoft. It was released for the arcades by Capcom in 1995 on Sony ZN-1. It is the sequel to Battle Arena Toshinden, and was a departure in that it was developed for the arcades first, where as the original had been console exclusive.

Not only Battle Arena Toshiden deserves a remake or remaster, characters deserve to crossover with Soul Calibur or Samurai Showdown.

The only game of the unforgotten series who is preceded in Arcades, and later in PS1. Was A dream fullfiled by Tamsoft who sadly becomes shortly as the legendary studio did not obtained funds to release more games in the series on Arcade, keeping his attentions back on consoles.

I remember how the psx was touted for its 3d capabilities, and this game was suppose to be a showcase of that, yet it doesn't look nowhere near as good as virtual fighter 2 on the Saturn.
