Here are some tips you will DEFINITELY need once you progress further into the game. Meatshields. Meatshields are the most essential units in Battle Cats. They are cats that you constantly send out or spam to absorb hits from the enemy (their only purpose is basically to die). They should be used to protect your Ubers, which should be in the back. Meatshields are cheap cats such as Macho Cat and Wall Cat. I've noticed that most of your army is composed of rare, super rare, and Uber cats. I would recommend replacing some of them with meatshields. If you're able to, you should DEFINITELY get Boogie Cat (a special cat for 90 cat food, I believe). It's another cheap meatshield and is 100% worth the price (even more so if the units are half price). Now for the gacha. I know that most comments have said to save your cat food for 100% Uber rare rolls, and they aren’t wrong. These guaranteed rolls usually come around near the end of a banner but are NEVER available for events where the Uber chances are greatly increased (events like Epicfest, Uberfest, Superfest, Best of the Best, etc.). Doing an 11-roll during one of these events, though not guaranteed, is a high-risk, high-reward type of thing. I once rolled 5 Ubers in a single 11-draw on Epicfest. These increased chances work in a really strange way. For example, if there are two banners-one for Epicfest and one for something else-and you roll on the one for something else and get a super rare, there was a chance that if you'd rolled on Epicfest, you would have gotten an Uber rare instead. I would advise spending your cat food only on either guaranteed rolls or banners where Uber drop rates are up. If you get a new unit, ALWAYS USE IT. Even if you get duplicates, use them-don’t exchange them for XP. Although XP is nice, the extra level goes a long way, especially as you progress further into the game, and they stack.

About the collabs with miku and all that stuff, don't worry, normally it also comes up in the English version after a while, and battle cats tends to bring old collabs from now and then, maybe miku will take a year or two - but others like metal slug, fate, and others are possible to be close of appearing again - most likely to be either merc storia or metal slug tho, due to them having almost a year from the last rerun. Yeah, and also, from the first chapter to second chapter, enemies become 1.5 times stronger, not bad, right? Well, from chapter 2 to chapter 3 enemies become 4 TIMES STRONGER.

Battle Cats Tip! : At this point forward the max cap level for your cats is 20. The only way to go passed level 20 for your cats is by ranking up through leveling up cats! Each cat level will add one user rank level which is shown in the top left in the 21:30 mark of the video behind your cam. When you get to a certain rank you can eventually upgrade rares, special, super rares, uber rares, and as well as legend rares to 30. Also you are able to go passed 30 through pulling gacha cats. Each gacha cat used will +1 a cat. For example, if your Kotatsu cat was level 30 and you pulled another Kotatsu cat, you can use it and it will get it to 30 + 1 levels for better stats. Ranks: 900 through to 1410 increase the level caps of Rare, Super Rare, Uber Rare and Legend Rare units to 30.

MIKE READ THIS! (like this so Mike sees this) Chapter 3 is where things get real, and treasures are more than a nice bonus, this is where they become a necessity. Remove Brainwashed Brave Cat and Suntan Cat from your loadout! They are absolute deadweights and you should replace them for Wall Cat and Sushi Cat. Kotatsu Cat will be EXTRAORDINARILY useful for the Moon in this chapter because the boss is a Floating enemy, so it will be really good since it can live a lot of hits from the boss who is about 300x more intimidating that Nyandam and The Face. Tights Cat is ironically worse than normal Sexy Legs Cat so like you could replace him too. Do not rely solely on your Ubers to win stages, there is a point where Ubers are not able to win every stage and this is the starting point of that.

Some cats, like Hip Hop Cat, have Single Attack. This means they can only attack one enemy at a time. Cats with Area Attack can hit multiple enemies. If there is a swarm of enemies try using Area Attack cats to keep them all back.

tips for the zombie outbreaks if you didnt know, they get harder the harder the level is. For example, a zombie outbreak on korea would be really easy to the point you could probably do it, while one on the moon or hawai would be a lot harder. (i watched mattshea's playthrough on this and im exited to watch yours)

alright, 4 things since there still seems to be something off: 1. spend cat food only on guaranteed 11-draws however, at some point, you'll probably need to buy the special cats anyways. so just wait for half price and buy them (especially ninja cat, bro is a hard carry in empire of cats). also, you might as well spend the 30 catfood draw from the starter special on x2 uber rate banners. 2. only spend your rare tickets on banners with x2 uber rate such as epicfest, uberfest and most importantly, superfest *WHICH IS GONNA LAST FROM SEPTEMBER 27TH TO OCTOBER 4TH.* occasionally, there will be regular banners that have a 2x uber rate, albeit it's not very often. 3. epic/uberfest contain every uber (with the exception of seasonal and event ones) alongside fest exclusives. uberfest exclusives are made to fight traited enemies (every trait aside from traitless), and epicfest exclusives are made to fight traitless enemies. 4. superfest contains every uber in the game including fest exclusives and seasonal ubers (still no event ubers), and it's by far the best banner to roll rare tickets on. an example of a seasonal uber is seashore kai, and an example of an event uber is hatsune miku. anyways, some general stuff: - use meatshields like macho cat and wall cat to defend your ranged units, otherwise you might as well be wasting money. - you can only upgrade your cats to level 30 once you have reached a certain milestone of the user rank. user rank is basically how many times you upgraded cats, so basically if you upgraded a cat from lvl 1 to lvl 10, you would get 9 user rank because you upgraded them 9 times. even if you get +1 from rolling a duplicate in the gacha, it counts towards user rank. user rank 900 and 1200 allows you to upgrade rare cats to lvl 25 and lvl 30 respectively, 1000 and 1300 allows you to upgrade super rare cats, 1100 and 1400 allows you to upgrade uber rare cats. normal cats cannot be upgraded past lvl 20, so you can only roll duplicates from the normal gacha to level them up.

Mike, can you please meatshield more in levels? Meatshields are spammable cheap units that can be used to protect your powerful units. For example, Legs Cat has a long range. For it to live, spam the meatshields to protect it for an extended period of time. Some meatshields you can get are: Macho Cat, Wall Cat, Boogie Cat, and Catburger. One thing to know is that you maybe just need 2-3 meatshields in your lineup.

Get ready for Chapter 3 boss Mike. It'll test your mettle if you are willing to truly be a battle cats player. The boss will really TEACH you that this game is not to be trifled with and it's gonna take real commitment to get far. Luckily you have very supportive community that will help you so you wouldn't be completely blind, hell I wouldn't be surprised if you did it first try or at least relatively fast however I remember my first run through of Chapter 3 boss completely blind and it had me stumped for weeks. Didn't help that my Uber luck at the time was awful and I wasn't getting anything. Nowadays I've been getting them left and right. Anyways grind hard and stay committed. Best of luck.

As someone with over a thousand hours on this game, I’m not going to overwhelm you with information. Just know that to optimally use the gacha system (and not make people mad about it), you should only use your catfood on 11 rolls on gacha when they have a guaranteed uber chance (which usually comes around about once per month), and only use your tickets on uberfest/epicfest/superfest (the former two usually come around at the beginning and middle of the month respectively, while superfest comes around during special occasions like anniversaries and such)

Heres a very important tip on the gacha: NEVER spend cat food on the fests. Yes i know the fests has a 9% and 10% chance ln getting ubers but saving up for a GUARANTEED is much, much less riskier since it of course, guarantees you an uber. The best banners (in my opinion): Best sets: The Almighties Ultra Souls Good sets: Dark Heroes Vajiras The others are for specific types of traits like Iron Legion is for Zombies while Elemental pixies is for aliens.

Just a tip: Bun Bun is the boss of chapter 3 (and is the point where most players quit) and he is the floating trait, so cats such as delinquent cat (who freezes) and kotatsu cat are very good to beat him. Also make sure you meatshield during the boss so he doesn't push as most of your cats die to Bun Bun from one hit (I recommend 3)

2 epic battle cats tips: katosu cat's true form (true forms can be unlocked after being chapter 3 of eoc) is very useful in early-mid game. Also, not all banners are built equal, 2 of the best ones (non specialty) are dynamites and ultra souls for specific op ubers

MIKE the level cap of your cats at certain user rank rewards for example level 900 allows rare cats to be leveled up to level 25 and at level 1200 user rank u can upgrade rare cats to level 30 which is the level to upgrade cats to third form And SAVE rare tickets for uberfest( you upgrade user rank by upgrading cats)

Considering you are still reading comments. The best advice I have to give is to SAVE all rare tickets for banners called "epicfest" and "uberfest" you have a way higher chance of pulling ubers there and it also has some of the best ubers in the game. You want to spend catfood on guaranteed 11 draws. I know the urge to spend rare tickets is very itchy but try to save around 10-20 rare tickets for uber/epic fests. Good luck.

Mike, you need to do stories of legend!! It starts off easy but ramps up in difficulty quickly, but it gives you pretty good rewards and can reward you with some cats that are pretty powerful.

Mike, the Epicfest comment was referring to a gacha pool in the game called Epicfest, there is also a pool called Uberfest; they are two pools where every non-limited Uber in the game is available along with non-limited rares and super rares, however what makes them special is that each of them have a bunch of exclusive Ubers that cannot be found in any other pool aside from the Platinum pool. Uberfest exclusives cannot be found in Epicfest and Epicfest exclusives cannot be found in Uberfest, these exclusives are some of the best cats in the game and can turn most stages into a joke when used correctly. I do not recommend you trying to get these until you complete chapter 3 and also finish into the future because there is a lot you still need to learn about the gameplay. Also the comment mentioned 10% Uber drop rate which is higher than other pool drop rates, ignore that, you only should do the Epicfest pool or Uberfest pool if it has a guaranteed Uber drop which happens occasionally.

I hope you don"t get stuck there 😅 Also, I love to see that you"re getting the treasures, so here's a little tip to get them even more efficently: on even days you have treasure festival of EOC, Empire Of Cats (the chapters you are on), all day; also, there are times of the day when you can play any stage at half the original energy, which are 7:00 am~9:00 am, 12 am~2 pm, and 7 pm~9 pm. After Eoc chapter 3 moon hip cat can evolve into his true form and deal 90K damage a hit but has signal target so will only hit one enemy. Also ultra souls is the 4th best event to roll on (in my opinion) with the 3,2,1 being uberfest ,epicfest, and super fest

Here some strong cats you prob should use 0v0 -Hip Hop Cat, Nerd Cat, Bahamut Cat, Tank Cat, and Crazed Tank Cat are generally considered the best, some other powerful cats are Kasli the Bane, Miko Mitama, Rocker Cat, Mer-Cat, Slime Cat, Courier Cat, and many, many more, these are just some that come to mind when I think of the best cats. For where you are, however, Lizard Cat, Ninja Cat, and Titan Cat are all solid choices, from the gacha, look out for Swimmer, Surfer, Figure Skating, Weightlifter, and ESPECIALLY Salon. | Hope this helps ;p

You need to get a certen user rank to get to level 20 and 30 then you can use cats eyes to get level 40 and 50 but for Ubers you can use dark cats eyes to get to level 60 then they might have a Ultra form or ultra talents. You can get cat fruit from legend stages or events but you need epic cat fruit to upgrade Super and Uber rare units. You can also get Cats of the Cosmos after you beat into the future chapter 1. Btw I did not get that info on the wiki I got it from other battle cats youtubers.

You can use the engineer when you enter Legend stage click start and scroll all the way down you should see stories of legends though I suggest that you should do it after you clear empire of cats got all the treasures and currently entering into to the future chapter 1 because upgrading your base is a game changer.

hey I wanted to tell you that if you get your user rank up you get to upgrade the special super rare and rare units past level 30 (except for Valkyrie and bahamut) but you have to be like over rank a thousand. Also the really cool sword guy that slices a whole bunch is really really good for later levels when you are starting to fight metal an amaze you're going to really need him so make sure you give him his proper attention. Tip: Meatshielding!!!, which is just spam a bunch of low cost cats at the beginning or middle (like save up for a high cost then summon high cost then spam the meat shields) like normal cat, wall cat, and axe cat are my go to rn, its helps cause the enemies focus their attacks on the meat shield while the middle range and long range cats attack the enemy and it also help with stalling fast enemies like the squirrels

Ok, first you NEED to treasure grind. Next, you need to upgrade titan cat, and get ninja cat, then upgrade him. And finally, you should get some meat shields. A meat shield is a low-costing, low-recharge time unit. You should put these meat shields in the front. For example, the macho cat and wall cat a great meat shields. Mike you need to meatshield in this game, meatshielding is when you sacrifice a cheeper, and spammable frontliner unit to protect the backliners, meatshields like macho cat, Boogie cat and wall cat are a pretty decent starter meatshields. without meatshield, every far ranger including midranger will be in danger and can die easily because many of them are very vulnerable and can die very easily especially when its the chapter 3 moon boss.

2:23 Kotatsu cat is actually a godsend if you come to face Flotating enemies! (BunBun, the floating face or even that one annoying Moth) I recommend leveling him up regularly if you have XPs to spare, from time to time before you get access to Stories of Legends. It will help you greatly on some advent stages and cyclone stages (Red sky at Morning) Beware, not all Cyclone are floating enemies ! Good luck!

20:13 fun fact bahamut cat is actually a key unit for beating the crazed stages and ururuun wolf(we'll talk about that when you get into stories of legend) he also has a true form, whoever you unlock it after beating into the future chapter 3 where he changes completely.

Mike, you should always roll only on guaranteed, however an event is coming up soon called Superfest that should be an exception to the rule, since the Uber chance is insanely high and a lot of good Ubers are available there.

You should save your cat tickets for chapter 3 when you beat it because that’s when you unlock cat fruits which you need to get the 2nd evolution of cats

Dear Mike if your reading this i just wanted to say you should swap basic cat with ninja cat, make sure that ninja cat is level 10 or 20..My friend told me that ninja cat can do lost of damage on the enemies (sometimes..) And that cat will give you a lot of money to spawn more cats give you a lot of money if you start to spam ninja cat. If you get rocker cat then upgrade him he is the best for angels and does like 1k damage per attack and has a attack speed like cow cat and ninja cat so he has like almost 10k damage per second and he can help you for into the future chapter 1 and maybe empire of cats chapter 3 so yeah also great video!

Hey mike, i have a few tips for you to use in chapter 3 of empire of cats. You should probably try meat shielding, which is where you take really cheap and weak cats such as macho cat and wall cat, and send them out to take damage for your stronger cats. It helps a lot in the moon of chapter 3 and in almost every stage in the game

The hatsune miku event happens in EN and not just the JP version of the game. some events happen more than once so if you continue to play, youll eventually end up be playing the collaboration but with new units and such. by the way, some collaborations are not worth spending cat food on! remember this in the future when you get further into the game, cause some collab units will not be useful to you.

Kotatsu cat is a really good unit against floating with its resistant trait against floating only getting 1/4 the damage from floating enemies like bun bun. And make sure to use wall cat often as its the best meatsheild to stall enemies and sponge damage. Getting all gold treasures will greatly help you in the other stories the legend stages and the blitz stages especially the Into the future treasures. And fast units are great for treasure farming like ninja cat.
