something I LOVE about trixie is that she's designed to be AMAZING for early and late game players. traitless and alien targeting is INCREDIBLY important early game annd having that good relic targetting uber in your pocket without having to invest a lot for a hard to get trueform or talent for another uber,.. especially when growing strange exists

i agree with what your saying but i think this is the exact reason why trixie isnt a good uber, i think the investments you are forced to make to get around obsticles, while not always fun, are necessary for a good playthrough of the game, it forces you to learn how to play in other ways and makes you explores other parts of the game you wouldnt really do that much of otherwise

The big thing for later in the game is her relic targeting but even they fall off after zero luza. She’s a beast throughout the entire game but her strengths are at full display from earlygame to late-midgame

I thought about it, but I don’t think the math works out. I think it’s a percentage on base freeze, so 50% uptime becomes 55, and such. Meanwhile 10 frames or whatever she has could become 11…

@@sumthinorother9615 That's the thing, the math works perfectly for her. Freeze proc is 10f, so freeze up will raise it by 1/2f (S/M), no rounding involved. May seem small, but in practice those extra frames will help her a LOT to extend her unique stagger effect.

I feel like one big weaknesses that I'm surprised you didn't address is her lack of wave & surge immunity. Mostly wave immunity since quite a few traitless enemies have wave attacks but also i think that the lack of surge immunity would hinder her on mixed enemy stages.

I believe in the case on Wave Immunity, since most Trailers wave enemies are melee (Mammooth be like), that she can simply walk past the wave, then start chaining freezes off. Surge Immunity is what mostly hurts her, but besides Master Uril and the Kappys, there arent many Surge enemies. Just dont bring her too close to Aku enemies.

Actually, I think there IS one other weakness she has, one that is only relevant for a fairly small section of the game. She doesn't target Zombie enemies, which is not an issue for most of the game but does mean that she isn't as busted in ITF and COTC Zombie Invasion stages where she has to deal with both Zombies burrowing into herself and burrowing past her and cutting off the meatshield supply she needs to keep herself safe. Granted, both of these are also issues for your Catuar stack if you have one, but having a vulnerability where you lose both your anti-Alien and anti-Zombie units at the same time if you make a mistake or things go wrong is a bit on the risky side.
