Yokoi's epic rail-shooter borrows liberally from Punch-Out!! and delivers an awesome SNES experience that was sadly passed over by most because of the SuperScope requirement. It's so damn good, how do more people not rave about this game?

Because James Rolfe and Mike Matei trashed it on their James and Mike Mondays, but if you read the comments on that video all of their fans are calling'em out for their poor judgment, They shoulda played it with a Wiimote, for fuck's sake
@Dorelaxen7 жыл бұрын
Please, just because someone on KZbin says something bad about a game, not everybody jumps on it with both feet. James and Mike both are very particular in their tastes, and everybody out there dislikes something that is widely regarded as good (I hate the film Fight Club, for instance) and loves something that's considered awful (I love the film Hudson Hawk, for instance). The Nostalgia Critic has repeatedly trashed movies that are pretty good, but that's his opinion, and I won't be changing my viewpoints because of it, even if I can see some of the points he makes. You can't pin something like this on an internet personality, no matter how popular they are.

This game...lol let me share my 6 year old experience with this mfin game. I had bought this game thinking it looked so cool. Little did I know, we needed the actual gun 😑. My first experience of being too poor. Months pass and I had already beaten all of my other games for SNES. I decide to see if there was some way I could play this without the damn gun. My older bro at the time would always say things like "you cant do that" or "it wont work" About an hour later, he comes back and asks me HOW TF U FIGHTING PINK GUNDAM?! lol. I had discovered that pressing all the buttons at once on the original controller made the game shoot. It was always in the center.

Man I love this game and its sequel. I played them so much, even finishing them on Hard mode. There's nothing else in Nintendo's IP stable quite like them. I wish they'd go back to this world, but the way they develop games they'd never do it, or they'd try to shoehorn it into some weird controller gimmick with the Switch or something. I need to look into jailbreaking a Wii or something, because one thing I really wanted on the Wii U, once I saw what they did with Duck Hunt, was both of these games to play with a wii mote. Because these games are just that good.
