A couple of corrections: 7:59 : "Craft the Jard's Peculiar Energy Source once per day" 13:20 : "Broken Isles", not just "Broken Shore" And apparently, boosting a level 60 character doesn't boost your professions anymore! And you need level in 300 classic alchemy to unlock Transmutation (or any other) Master!

Hi Lon, love the video. My suggestion for a future video would be a comprehensive daily checklist that you use, to quickly and efficiently carry out all the things you recommend for gold making in your videos. Kind of a “what I do when I log on to each toon” video. I always thought that was the single best thing content providers could convey. Whether it’s progression or gold making, a clear easy to follow checklist would be immensely helpful. So many times I absorb all this great info, and sit in front of my screen and say what now lol. You could pioneer it!!

It's funny to think that you can use the pandaria farm solely on multiple toons and craft mounts and reborn weapons with it. Who woulda thought that seeds could do that?! Amazing!!

The veteran profession boost for boosting a lvl 60 was removed as far as I know, double check this, but be careful if you pay for a boost hoping to get maxed engineering or something, it might not work anymore.

Came to post the same thing. I've been investing gold into an alt army via boosts and since 8.0 no more veterans boosts to professions.

In my experience, don't boost an existing character. Boost a brand new one, that you have trialled, you still get a WOD level 3 garrison, but no professions boost. I boosted a lvl 49, no garrison, no veterans available. I looked to boost a lvl 79, no veterans bonus, and no garrison. I missed the boat, like so many of the opportunities. I am not bitching, I have now learned to read the patch notes, and act accordingly. I may suck at being a goblin, but as a casual player, I still enjoy this game, and wish good fortune to all (even if you are Horde ;-)

This exact series of farms/sales is how I casually made 7 million gold in Legion. I have not gone back to the well as much in BFA but I have started to double back. I was amazed at how much WoD transmog items were selling for and if you have an overabundance of savage bloods some of the upgrade items are selling too because the 4th and 5th tier of upgraded armor have different looks.

You kind of have to check the market or even advertise that you can make them and see if you get a guarunteed bite instead of a chance but if you have the mats it can be a good gamble.

The best way to get coins of air for the rogue pick pocket weekly quest is to go to the instanced Eye of Azshara and pick pocket all of the naga before the first boss. There are some to the sides of the boss and after the initial questline I can usually get my 10k in one run, which takes 6-8 minutes.

Thanks for analysis with the new engineering mount. It is a bit of thought to think about what to do with 46 110+ alts on my main account (not even all my 110+s, 47 are level 90+). These videos are a huge help. I have been running the panda farms for snakeroot and smelting away.

1. I'm 100% sure, that veteran bonuses for boosted characters are indeed disabled. 2. To get Transmutation Master on your new Alchemist, you actualy need to skill up vanilla alchemy up to lvl 300. You wont get quest for this without max Vanilla Alchemy. 3. Goblin gliders do sell, but its a fraction of price you could get for it on bfa launch. I was selling my gliders for 80-95g each. Now its 20g max, and if you buy ore on ah, you wont get any profit from this at all. Ofc you can mine ores in your garrison but... See below. 4. Garrison mine and herb garden both at 3 lvl will give you around 300-400 gold per day per character - if you manage to actualy sell those materials. The only item worth time will be true iron ore, but its rare ore, while blackrock ore is 2x more common. 5. MoP farm is probably your best bet if you are dedicated to making gold and not farming new content materials. While its dificult not to get 20k /h with max lvl herbalist, you will get materials worth around 1,2k per char with max farm (i was "planting ore"). You get 16 trillium ore per day + 10-25 ghost iron. It takes time to gather, and ur locked to set your hearthstone there if you want to play the game aswell. To be honest, i was expecting some bfa stuff that you can do on alts other than "make profession stuff". Disapointed :P

Thanks a lot for these very good points! As for the Gliders and the True Iron Ore (and other mats), I use Garrison resources to buy my mats when the right trader shows up in the trading post. The margins for gliders are lower now, but are still there, and they sell like hotcakes, on my server, at least. I don't really bother with the herb garden and mine. A lot of my gold still comes from Hexweave bags. The hearthstone thing with the farm is very true. The tip used to work better in legion as you could set your hearth to the farm and just use your Dalaran hearthstone. It's still not too bad if you take the Dalaran portal to Pandaria and take the flight path (during which I go and do something else, although I indeed wouldn't bother if I have better things to do in terms of BFA content)! Another reason I like it is because I can sort of chill, alt tab, do something else without worrying about being attacked. One difference between it and herbalism is that you don't need to actually have herbalism to do it, so that's one extra profession slot across your characters (I'm not saying that's necessarily better though, cause for instance if already have all of the crafting profs, then you can definitely take up herbalism). All in all, I had also hoped (both as a player and a content creator) for more BFA alt-friendly gold making methods. It seems like Blizzard is really trying to make gold making more difficult in terms of non-profession methods like the mission table (RIP)!

Veteran profession boost stopped working after 8.0 - I didn't get the boost on one of my toons that was boosted from lvl 60 where before it worked.

1:11 masterful navigation 9k, is 2k on my server. I am losing 2k gold for each enchanting skillpoint. Sky Golem cost is lower than raw material cost to craft it, just waste of 30 days.

I can still use the Legion mission tables in the DK and DH halls so I'm not sure what you mean by them not being around anymore.

Sorry, I should have been more clear. They are definitely around but have been heavily nerfed. During the BFA 8.0 prepatch you could still do missions for order hall resources, which you can then use to sustain Rep token or Blood of Sargeras missions. Now, you can't even do that anymore, so the only way to run Legion missions is to actually go out and grind order hall resources. I haven't tested out with the Druid order hall's Broll Bearmantle, who reduces mission costs (potentially making the Bloods missions worth more resources than their cost)

Eh, nice video, though everything auction related is just figurative gold which you may or may not get, you might be sitting for months without selling anything, especially on a high pop realm where auction is flooded with everything(highly dislike gambling) Thus, such method doesn't work for me, i benefit more from running through like 3 MoP raids and vendoring everything for 3k gold for 30 min-1 hour work. Multiply across like 12 chars and it's solid. For someone as poor as me, with only like 10 k gold in pocket at any given time...it's quite a lot. P.S. In Legion, with missions tables i could amass bit over 100k over the course of few weeks, or a month, it was my only income. Shame there aren't any such missions now.

What you do is literally a waste of time. 6k gold per hour? You could aswell hop onto a herbalist and gather (current expansion herbs) for an hour just to undercut current herbs for like 2 or 3gold cheaper per item and it will sell instantly, especially on high pop server netting you 15k+ up to who nows how much if you are lucky and if prices are nice. And thats just a tip of the iceberg of quickly selling items. It might be slower on low pop, but current herbs sell quickly, they are quite more expensive there, so you can undercut even more if you are in such a hurry to sell and they will still sell.

Thanks for the compliment! Many of the items I spoke about (BFA crafts, Hexweave Bags, Consumables like the Goblin Glider and the Drums of War) sell very quickly and are very much worth your time! MoP Raids might not be too bad for raw gold, but like the other commenter mentioned, it's much more time efficient to do BFA gathering (i.e. Herbalism) and/or some BFA farming route.

Well, i've tried that a lot in the past, it just doesn't work, anything auction related just doesn't work for me, i need cash, not some pretty numbers i see on the auction house. Especially things like herbs and ores, they are extremely over farmed, not only would you spend hours, but also days for few herbs/ores, just to find any(especially without flying) It's really not worth my time, when i could be doing something more enjoyable. To say the least, spending all my game time farming ''gold'' is not in my interest, hence why i only farm in ways i can cash-in instantly.

Kristers Krūka it works for everyone, its impossible that it doesnt work for you... I have my toons on Outland (highest pop eu realm) and one of the lowest. On both I tried herbalism and it worked like a charm. Current expansion herbs sell almost instantly especially if you undercut. Hell, even if you are on super high pop realm and there seem to be no nodes, you can either server hop or join group specially for that. 2 days ago I joined an anchor weed farming group just to test that and farmed 68 anchor weeds plus hundreds of other herbs in an hour. Just the anchors cost around 20k on Outland with it super low prices. On other realms it would probably be more than 30k just for them. And if I post big stacks I can even post for more gold than minimum prices and they will still sell. There is absolutely no possibility that it wouldnt work for you. You either never tried, tried posting for too high of prices because you didnt sort prices on ah and only saw middle and high ones, or tried farming old content herbs which dont sell that often. And its just funny that you say that you dont like farming if you go and spend hours to earn some measly 3k while you could spend an hour and earn 20or more. Hell, it is probably more profitable to just run heroic 25 man cata dungeons since each boss drops several quite expensive items for the pure cash you want that much.

I believe it isn't, because what Blizz seems to be doing is staggering even profession content throughout the major patches. For instance, they are introducing new crafted items with 8.1. Meanwhile, it is definitely harder to make gold compared to Legion and WoD because of the absence of an equally strong mission table.
