A little under 3 years ago, when Russia started massing troops on the border in order to invade Ukraine, if you had told people one of the end results would be Bradleys and Abrams being used by Ukraine inside of Russia, people would have called you crazy.

The donator, US military, had expected the ukrainians to be more thankful for the Abrams tanks, but what they really appriciated was the Bradleys. @rogeredrinn4592 yeah exactly I was working at an ice cream shop for the winter, just somethin to do basically, im a seasonal worker so I have winters off. And I got a notice on my phone that russia was invading ukraine, I had no idea why the hell it happened, I knew ukraine was a sovereign country, so I wanted to learn and follow it, knowing russia has so many nukes and american not really on friendly terms with putin. I say putin because russia is not the enemy, it's putin that is and his army. So I decided I'm gonna follow this through, and learn why all these innocent women and children, men of all ages too "civilians"... just killed for no reason, no provoking of any kind. Many stood there becsuse they were told russia will not harm civilians, putin lied of course and yes I saw uncensored videos of Russian troops just firing upon innocent people,. YES ITS REAL THEY DID ATTACK CIVILIANS. KILLED 1000"S ACTUALLY.. so I decided to follow closer to this, and somewhat prepare for ww3

I'm assuming we're missing some troop movements somewhere here and there is infantry is advancing somewhere in the trees with the vehicles in support.

General Omar Bradley was under Eisenhower in Europe. You may remember him , he begged Eisenhower to not sanction Patton for slapping a soldier. The Abrams Tank named after one of the best Tankers the United States has ever produced, General Clayton Abrams. Fought with distinction in Ww2 on the European theater.

If you look closely you'll see the muzzle fire of Russian shooting back and that when the two TOWS missiles were shot... Then the bradley gets parallel with the tree line and you see bullets flying from the tree line to the side from where Bradley came from so there's definitely troops hiding in there.

Now imagine Nato has Bradleys but with all the Members combined they have AMPV, Puma, Boxer CRV, Freccia, LAV 6.0, Tulpar, Borsuk, CV90 MkIV, Piranha V, Pandur II, Lynx KF41, Patria AMV XP, Boxer IFV and alot more. And these are only the IFVs there are a ton more vehicle categorys.

The Best about the older Bradley Blocks: They are plenty and more than decent. Though they don't hold a candle to more modern IFVs or even a Marder (that one has much better armour and much more firepower but also weights more). Sheer numbers have its own value, the Bradley is often used for mundane tasks like transport to the front lines or retrieving wounded. The stronger IFVs are mostly reserved for intense combat.

@LeutnantJoker
@LeutnantJoker Күн бұрын
That depends on what direction you want to screen. They obviously wanted to screen their rear. I'm assuming you would have sat in the middle of the smoke where you're the one not seeing anything? Did that work out for you in your computer game?
@TheBongReyes
@TheBongReyes Күн бұрын
I’m often critical of Ukraine’s armored tactics but in this occasion I believe the smoke screen was intended to cover follow up vehicles behind the Bradley. The latter part of the video shows at least one additional Bradley behind the first one.

LMAO @ clowns in the comments, reality check: "As of August 2024, Ukraine has lost at least 90 Bradley Fighting Vehicles (BFVs) in the war with Russia. Number of Bradleys provided to Ukraine: The United States has provided Ukraine with 186 Bradleys. Number of Bradleys deployed: Around 100 to 120 Bradleys are believed to have been deployed to the front lines. The rest were reserved for training, parts, and replacement." Truth hurts!
