Infinite repairing only applies to vehicles, not structures. Structure repairing is limited to 3, a bunker with many connections is limited to 3 per bunker piece. A 6 piece bunker can have 18 repairers max. If all 18 people are on the same piece, it will only repair at the pace of 3.

King's cage is an extremely defensive hex. The center peninsula is extremely advantageous, with high ground in the center usually come with factory and garage, while connected with two bridges at each side. That means constant bridge battles when both side are contesting for the chance of trying to invade the center. The outcome of center peninsula is either come to the duel of the artilleries of each faction, or by the side who control the Farranac Coast and invade from the neighboring hex. This often result in heavy fortresses and artillery/storm cannon base being build on either side if the fight in King's cage didn't end in the earlier time.

- The weather in KingCage has been so bad the whole week. If it's not rain, it's snow. - We have the rocket factory nearby but our rockets are useless in that kinda weather. - Another thing about the Hex is that we don't have any proper way to defend the town after capturing it. The road facing south means our truck has to run into enemy territory to reach the Base. . - So, it is the same situation as the last war, where we concrete our defense in the West and let the enemy waste their resource pushing us. While the Eastern Front pushed into their logi Hex. - Also our Arty waits for the enemy to build their concrete and then kill the wet concrete. Seeing those concretes blow up really hurt their morale and economy.

The main reason for me not to play in King's Cage is simply Bridge Battle, if a push happens it's fine but outside of that bridge battle are tedious, for this war and many wars prior, it's also horrible to play with manacles being a frontline and having factories and garage and so the first day of the war is the decider as to which faction gets it. From then on it's an uphill battle even attempting to push pass the bridge until 150mm or Storm Cannons come out. As for hex's that I haven't thought in , probably Nevish line and the islands to the right minus The Fingers. Congratz on the 10k
@RobertLovesGames5 ай бұрын
Yea I think that is why I have avoided it as well. Always looks like it's a bridge battle that's going on. Or I look at the hex the next day and the whole thing is taken over lol. 82DK's been pushing in KC this war as well, the general feeling on the hex in the clan seems to be negative, it's most often referred to as Cope Cage. I personally just hate the bridge fights, you win one bridge fight and your prize is fighting another one for a week.

@robert FYI, if you have more than 3 players, it doesn't actually waste them. Happy for contrary evidence, but I tested this many wars ago

As someone who's done a decent amount of logi on the Warden side in King's Cage ever since it was released I have picked up some observations on people's thoughts about it as a whole, though these are mostly anecdotal. When it first came out I noticed a lot of people seemed to not be a fan and the endless bridge fights in War 105 at The Bailie have lead to an ongoing meme in my friend group of "I'M NOT GOING BACK TO THE BAILIE!!!" or more simply "I'M NOT GOING BACK!!!" So I think some of the ambivalence towards it may boil down to King's being seen by some as just another bridge fight hex. During that same war and some of the subsequent ones I remember that a lot of people also didn't really want to build in King's either which lead to a lot of big attacks and really fun battles in Stonecradle that war as well. I don't have a lot of insight on that personally as I'm not really a builder but I would be interested in hearing from any builders as to why that might be. More recently I've seen that folks seem to be taking the hex a bit more seriously as it's not uncommon for it to be one of the most forward seaports for the Wardens on the west coast, not to mention the two factories are pretty nice if you have the bmats to use them. I also find that it can go from being a fairly quiet hex to all of a sudden being in the midst of a fairly heated battle somewhat out of nowhere. Overall, as someone who almost always operates out of Stonecradle, I actually quite like King's Cage and I look forward to sending out more supplies to The Manacle to help the front. I'd be really interested to hear what others thing about the hex though from both fellow Wardens and the Colonial perspective. I know a lot of Collies felt the fighting in King's was endless in 105 so lets hear what any vets have to say about it!
@RobertLovesGames5 ай бұрын
That makes since about the bridge fights. That hex has to many bridges in my opinion. Need another way to connect it without getting rid of the river systems. I was hoping that freezing the water would help with this. I really appreciate you detailed analysis of Kings Cage and giving your perspective! I really enjoyed reading this so thank you! I will have to try it out more and explore it a bit more to say how I could utilize it. Thanks again!
