HI Icarus! do you mind to show us how to achieve the medal requirements on stage 1 for every ship in this game mode? cannot find any discussion out there talking about this.

What are the main differences between Premium Arrange and the original? I notice you keep your rapid shot at 15 hertz and there's no rank management deaths, unlike in Kamui's 20.8mil run (as shown in your super replays!). Plus, 31 mil, holy crap. Clearly the score ceiling is a lot higher in this version, but is there anything else that might not be apparent to a casual observer?

Premium Mode is basically a modified edition of the game, in other words, think of it as if you're playing a different genre of a shoot em up game like.. Aero Fighters, Raiden, etc. Any difficulty you select, it goes by that difficulty, in general. That's pretty much what Premium Mode is. Now for Premium Arrange, I haven't actually experienced it, unless I choose Premium and I'm missing something I need to alter in the options menu (though I could be biased on the matter.). Now for the original, it's the same mechanism in the arcade version of the game. Just play, and being aware of the enemies' demeanor towards you, depending on how you play. If I sound a bit to complex on the articulation, I do apologize, my good friend. But to this day, Garegga still is one of my favorites, when it comes to retro shoot em ups.

Very nice! What do you need to do to attract the medals exactly? I noticed they don't always come flying towards you sometimes even though rank is at 100%.

From what i understand, its a secret "mode" in the PS4 rerelease. Not sure if Icarus figured the specific conditions out under which you enter this mode, but once it starts, your rank rises automatically and enemy medals home into you.

What are the main differences between yours and the #1 replay, strategy-wise? How much score are you missing, exactly? The major things I've noticed are the birds (0.6-0.8m?), five bosses killed at below 100% rank (1m), trading scoring for consistency and survival on stages 3 and 6 (0.15-0.2m or so?), suboptimal BH mk2 grenade milking (not sure here; probably less than a million), and not going Ibara-style on the slow red planes in stages 3 and 4 (around 0.1m? I assume their base score values are unchanged from the original). That amounts to something like 34 million. I've no idea what the top leaderboard score is.

Birds and BH2, you're really at the mercy of the RNG there in terms of score potential.
