I really hope they improve the drop rate and/or make it so it’s easier to get gears and bars when the full game releases sometime this year Cause I remember that being my progression killer in the original game. Naval battles were the bane of my 12 year old existence back then, I had no planes, no resources to build ships, just gunboats.

There's different ways to get Gears and Bars back then! Yes, you could do the Naval encounters but there was also occupying friends buildings. Vehicle Factory gave Gears & Spec Ops Center gave Bars, sadly we can't occupy friends bases since it hasn't be implemented yet... I stopped a bit after the Naval stuff came out since I was a bit younger when playing this game. Doing the Naval stuff now feels rough cause I'm spooked to lose any of my boats especially when I know I don't got back up bars to heal them 😭

yes those reef bandit torp boats can do 500 damage in one attack. this will one shot most things at rank 1, including my raptor class battleship. absolutely asinine. z2 was not firing on all cylinders when they made naval. hopefully we get this stuff balanced out soon by the new devs.

I just experienced the reef bandit torp boats 1 shot my destroyer 🙂 there goes my one and only bar. I definitely hope to see a new wave of rebalancing the ships but I also can see that happening after everything else with the game is closed to finished but before full release! (allows the new new players to play naval a bit easier)
