The real side of the story needs to be told more. The general sikh/punjabi/indian public do not understand the depths of pre84 & post84. The indian propaganda from the 80s and 90s has controlled the narrative too long. This is an excellent series to educate the ppl and have their questions answered and misunderstandings cleared. Thank you to all who are involved. 🙏

From my understanding the military enter on the evening of June 5th between the hours of 10:30-11:00. They entry is on the Clock Tower side. The entry is undertaken VIA the stairs where the troops are massively cut down. The actual attack still leans towards a shroud of mystery because when you hear the testimonies of the Sikhs who fought inside it is based on a point of view from what they could see from their fortified positions. It’s only local eyewitness or the few reporters left in Amritsar or the actual top brass of the military from their vantage point could tell you the whole operation in omnipresence narrative. General Sundarji who was in command of the operation says that he had to bring in tanks to stop the massacre of his troops.I would have liked to have heard an in-depth discussion of the killing of AS Atwal has there still seems to be a significant conspiracy about his death. Also an in-depth talk about the gunning down of Surinder Singh Sodhi & the background to why this had happened. The involvement of the woman in this role. The reporter Ritish Lakhi has done a lot of work on th his particular chapter. He has gone in-depth on the sub-plots of individual narratives that make-up the whole story.

Thank you so much for this amazing in depth series, i would like to request if you could do follow up videos on the Sakhia you said were too many to delve into due to time.

theres not much eye witnesses interview of the other gurdwaras that were attacked and surrounded..that should be looked into before those eye witnesses pass away
@NoName-jq7tj8 ай бұрын
Yes I agree. There is hardly any narratives about the other Gurdwara Sahib’s which were attacked. I would like to know about local testimonies what type of attack it was. Was it military or police. How it effected the local Sangat.

There is a book about it and the website is Bibekgarh. It has the testimonies and eye witness accounts into one book.

@bostv @BasicsofsikhiTV I have a question for episode 5 veero, what would you say we can do moving forward as a panth to strenthen Sikhi and achieve autonomy as a people? It seems like we always have to wait for a leader to emerge ex. Sant Jarnail Singh ji, Deep Sidhu or Bhai Amritpal Singh, to be able to unite the kaum. This works wonders in short amount of time with the right leader but the Indian Government seems to have learned from their mistakes in the past and acts super fast nowadays to rid our kaum of these leaders. What can we do, it pains me the Sikhi is being supressed, the world needs a beautiful example of Halemi Raj to follow in this moment, Khalistan could be the answer. Thank you for this amazing seva! Waheguru ji ka Khalsa, Waheguru ji ki Fateh
Question: A book by Mark Tully said "In order to incite Hindus, head and other parts of the anatomy of cows were thrown into temples". Is this true?
@BaljitSingh-qp2el8 ай бұрын
"On March 6, 1983, thirty Congress legislators from Punjab, convened an urgent meeting and submitted to the Prime Minister, a Memorandum, entitled, ‘Mis-Rule of Sardar Darbara Singh Government in Punjab : As viewed by Congress Legislators’. Apart from pointing out the various acts of omission and commission of Darbara Singh, the Memorandum furnished complete details of the people, places, time and manner in which the entire sacrilegious operation was conducted. Among the names of the persons involved in the sacrilegious acts was the Chairman of a public Corporation, who is said to have helped in procuring the heads of cows to be placed in the precincts of the Hindu temples. They alleged that the entire trouble was engineered to suit the designs of Darbara Singh. It read as under : “The Chief Minister himself got managed the first act of sacrilege of Hindu Temple at Amritsar...... He arranged to send heads of two calves from Mohali (where the beheaded bodies of these calves were found) in a trunk by bus and got the same thrown stealthily in or near the Hindu Temple at Amritsar"
@puttbaajanwaleda8 ай бұрын
It happened however it was fully condemned by Sant Ji and an MLA called Surinder Kapoor accused the govt of launching a conspiracy and commting these acts themselves. Beadbis of gurudware were happening then too with rumalla and angs of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj being rubbed into cow manure and other disgrsceful acts like tobacco being thrown into the Sri Harmandir Sahib sarovar yet mainstream media were silent on this.
@1Unknown19998 ай бұрын
Sant ji gave money to the hindus to investigate the beadbi because it didnt help the sikhs in anyway so it didnt make sense for any sikh to do that

I heard that Sant Jarnail Singh Ji left the Darbar Sahib complex a few days before the attack for a wedding and was allowed to both leave and return by the police is this true?
@sukhmankaursohal59028 ай бұрын
Not true. He died in the complex
@ksingh45288 ай бұрын
On shamsher final message. I agree with him up until the point of being critical of the idea of changing the system from within and being critical of Sikhs working in police/ army. Shahbeg Singh wouldn’t have been able to fortify the complex as well as it was without his military experience and Beant/ Satwant wouldn’t have been able to assassinate Indra without being in the system.

Question: There was a video that Sant Bhindranwale killed a Granthi in Akal Thakat because he didn't agree with him. His name was Giani Partap Singh. Can you address this?
@BaljitSingh-qp2el8 ай бұрын
Many of the killings of Sikhs was blamed on the Sikhs themselves. All those killed by the Sikhs were openly claimed by Jhujaroo Jathebandis like the case of DSP Bachan
@1Unknown19998 ай бұрын
This isnt true & has been proven not 1 single FIR or legal notice was on sant ji at the time, akali dal & congress & bjp were playing two sides of a political games

1:19:52 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐈𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐕𝐄 𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐃𝐈𝐆𝐌 Sikhism is not a religion if the word means only "one of the systems of faith and worship" or just "a personal awareness or conviction of the existence of a supreme being," it is a way of life, a cultural system that enlightens about living as liberated beings. The notion of personal freedom did exist in the form of moksha in Hinduism and as nirvana in Buddhism, but it bypassed the mediating structures that enforce and confirm freedom and change it into liberation. A person can be personally or individually free and still remain unliberated. ~📔SIKHISM AND POSTMODERN THOUGHT
