Please…. Benti… can somebody intervene firstly and foremost to NOT having sooo many guradwaras as opposed to ONE which all sangat can congregate together🙏🏼. There should Be somebody higher up to stop this happening. Being treated more like a business than what is the TRUE meaning. ….. EVERYONE welcome .. because we are meant to come together and pray. Perhaps then, the guradwara will not close early or that you have to ring Gianni’s to let you in??!! … open doors to all at all times. This solves two problems in one🙏🏼

Really enjoyed this - an incredible project and I couldn't think of a better team to head this project. So many gems in this podcast, I had no idea the original Muktsar building @24:00 was laid by Bhai Udai Singh of Kaithal. Also Jivanpal Singh's point about @1:03:20 Suraj Prakash being the main source to prove any location's importance was great, and his ability to bring in references from Narad Muni's text on Bhakti is extraordinary. Mandeep Singh's comment on the types of marble used at these locations was also really insightful.

Am just 36 minutes in and amazed at the missing fact not yet mentioned that the British (not to mention the Indian government also) with their anti Sikh approach to wipe out Sikhi have done massive amounts to eradicate the Sikh heritage of all kinds. When I went to jallianwala baag in 2013 with exception of 2 Sikh sardars all photos were of non-sikh victims of the massacre by the British. Why would the factual reality of majority Sikhs in the massacre be hidden like this. Just shows how crooked, wicked and evil these government and authorities are and have been to erase our sikh history and heritage! Yet to get preserve their own....

I am a White, Floridan Sikh, very alone in my state, wherein liberals and conservative are constantly at war with each other and asking me to take sides. My only side is the Truth, the Guru. It's hard to find a place to belong here, but I would hate to leave my homeland. I have tried building a Sangat, but there are no Sikh close to me. I want to ask the Khalsa or the Takhat for aid, but how?

Unfortunately places in India like jallianwalla bagh are very touristy but people are so busy taking selfies and smiling not realizing the atrocities that happened right where they stood. I agree with what is being said we do need to facilitate the work being done for the reasons stated- India itself wont do anything to help they’re trying to tear us down.

Thank you, finally someone speaks up about how much has been squandered on false impression, making our gurdwaras more a tourist attraction than a place of worship, a place where our Guruji stood. Painting all the gurdwara in Delhi in gold, has lost the preciousness of Darbar Sahib, they just lookalike. Use those funds helping the Sikhs in Punjab to payback loans, educate their children, give them hope. Rebuild this asthaans, even if it's in temporary even creating a space that the sanghat can see how things were in Gurujis times.

18:58, so at this point, what can we do about the fort like the fort is gone? How do we bring the fort back (sorry if this question does not make sense but yh)
@BasicsofsikhiTV2 күн бұрын
The best thing we can do now is to identify the Asthans that are still standing just like Virasati are doing with restoring Haveli Kavi Santokh Singh. As mentioned in the podcast, there are still misl era buildings and many other original Asthans standing that can be saved. We need to come together as a community and fund these projects so we can save what’s left.

It's such a shame that this video doesn't have more views. We, as a community, need to come together and educate our youth about our history and culture and join them with Sikhi. Thanks to all 3 of you for making such informative videos.

I think if Muslims actually let the truth of what happened in Mecca out it would contradict their belief of being told Muhammad was last final prophet. so in some type of fear or ego the lie and cover up continues But In admitting truth would not affect Islam as there is a lot of good truth in it, just the bits are not true need to be removed and understood and acknowledged by Muslims.
