Great video! It's amazing to see how much you have improved in such a short period of time!

Just saying but I am very proud of the brave Irish men who showed the world how Irish men fight and they showed it by attacking the strong confederate position in a sunken road that would forever be known as Bloody Lane.

I really have become a Big Fan of yours. Yours Videos are top notch and can be compared with the best. You asked for ideas, how about a series about battles of the franco-prussian war.

Watched your First Bull Run video yesterday and was very impressed and watched both Antietam videos today and was even more so. You have a great talent for telling the story of these battles. Subscriber for sure.

@@OwlWise I don't know if you plan on animating more civil war battles but if I may I would suggest the 2nd battle of Bull Run. Its hard to find any detailed videos about it on KZbin its easily the least talked about as far as i can tell. Just a thought dude either way keep it up.

@Brandon Lilly Thanks for the suggestion! I will definitely continue my Civil War battles series. The Second Battle of Bull Run is a great idea - I will consider making it at some point.

Nice video bro, just wondering, what type of animation are you using to show the degradation of your units?

All 3 Union corps at the northern end of the field outnumbered the entire Confederate army. It doesn't help that Hooker and Mansfield were both out of action during key points of the battle

Is that the 1812 overture in the background?

While it is true that Antietam Creek was waist deep around Burnside's Bridge, it was not fordable under fire. The creek flows fairly fast and would have slowed any crossing. The bank on the Confederate side is extremely steep and would have been a barrier. The same fire that made a dry shod crossing of the bridge difficult would have been brought to bear on those attempting to ford the creek, who would have been moving much slower and thus more susceptible. Those who argue that Burnside was somehow dilatory in crossing the bridge fail to grasp that Burnside was the only Union general who had to cross a bridge that day which was defended, and was the only Union general who achieved his objective. Your narrative adds nothing to the historiography of the battle and instead just perpetuates the misleading characterization of Burnside's actions that day.
